glacialweather I think several of the mods got updated at some point since I last downloaded them, 'cause some versions on the Discord mod page that didn't work before work now.
fugggg, I'm back at college, so I can no longer test mods or update the folder nearly as easily as when I had my home setupglacialweather I think several of the mods got updated at some point since I last downloaded them, 'cause some versions on the Discord mod page that didn't work before work now.
You can turn off the tail collisions at least.Could they maybe at least give an option to turn off collisions?
Never heard of this issue before, I'd make sure your program directory's permissions are correct and make sure your drivers are up to date.v0.6.5.1 doesn't even let me open the game, I'm going to try the other version, but a previous version already did the same thing to me, the last version that works for me is 0.6.0.0

I doubt it's a permissions issue, I've already tried opening as admin and the same thing happens, and my drivers are updated, it only happens to me with these new versions of the game with v0.6.0.0 it opens without problemsNever heard of this issue before, I'd make sure your program directory's permissions are correct and make sure your drivers are up to date.
Should just be unzip and play, all the game files are there. I dunno, your issue seems like a unique one. Unfortunately, unless someone here knows what's going on your best bet is to pay $10 for one month of Patreon access and ask on the Discord.is it just unzip and play, or do you have to install it or something?

I found the reason for the crash, I was trying to run the game on a hard drive, I tried to move it to an SSD and when I ran it, it opened without problems... lucky I have both drives, otherwise I would never find out, I suppose that today it is easier to get an SSD, but for those who have this problem, you already knowShould just be unzip and play, all the game files are there. There's areas in the world where there's a fuckhuge markup on PC parts. That's why not everyone "just picks up" an SSD. HDDs are still pretty affordable and almost your only choice if you want storage that can hold more than 1 mOdErN game and some other stuff on the side. Sad state of the world but that be how it do.Throwback to that one guy (or gal, couldn't care less) who thought my explanation for running this game off an HDD would produce problems long-term was stupid. I may be an idiot, but I'm not stupid (I think).
Best course of action for anyone is just to buy an SSD, and be done with HDDs. Unless if you're running RAID configurations, or want dirt-cheap mass storage that's inefficient in running anything more intensive than Minesweeper 3D or Solitaire...

Using Pico 4. The game launches but the controllers are not working at all. Any advice?
path to the game's folder (e.g. D:\games\heat) should have only english letters/numbers. otherwise game struggles to find its own files and things like this happen
usually that's why, but if that's not the case then idk
