Firstly, I want to see nudity too, but not seeing it doesn't hurt anything here, especially because there's a valid reason. I think a lot of the issue here is people seeing "stripper" and immediately applying their own perception of that, which may be vastly more common, but is not exclusive.

Secondly, to my thoughts. Visually, both in terms of renders and girls, this is very high quality. Story and gameplay-wise it's a pretty slow start. This might be a problem for me usually, but Slockie and Storm have a ton of credit in the bank from BW, and there is enough here added to that to make it absolutely worth continuing. I'm definitely intrigued by a few elements I've seen so far, but I think looking at this opening, it's maybe going to take a chapter or two to get me fully drawn in to any story aspect.

Regarding the start pacing, it's my understanding that HD will be a longer story than BW, so that there's more time for the story and relationships to breath. So it makes sense to me that it'll take a bit longer to fully kick off.

So I tried this even tho I don't like trying new releases... and it was okay I guess.

It did feel rushed tho... visually it was very repetitive and kinda flat (and the fight at the end in the parking lot was just bad, sorry to say), but it's just the start so we'll see how it does later, I'm sure it'll improve (and that's why I don't like checking out new releases u_u).

I really wanted to like this first chapter, but unfortunately the premise is so unbelievably ridiculous that it completely ruins your immersion. You go to a strip club three times in three weeks, and the girls are already swooning over you, giving out their names, giving lap dances for free, sitting with you rather than doing their job, divulging personal details about their lives, inviting you out to dinner, and willing to go on dates with you. And on top of this the MC is both dying of cancer as well as superhuman, with irresitable charms, rugged good looks, and incredible fighting skills. What a joke.

The whole thing is so absurd that you can't invest yourself in the game at all. Because all you are thinking about is how the characters are completely unrealistic and the plot so outlandish that you can't relate to it for one second. But then I guess I am simply not the target audience, and that the game strives to appeal to those that want a harem and live out a fantasy where they are the epitome of peak human performance, unable to do no wrong and get everything they want by snapping their fingers. For them, this will be a masterpiece. For the rest of us, not so much.

Well put. The dev says there is no NTR but that breaks the immersion of the setting. Like what happens when the MC leaves or is not at the club and the party you are interested in has a customer, who wants a private dance. Is that not NTR?

I actually don't care about NTR att all and actually wish more games would have competing love interests rather than just one guy who collects them all pokeman style with no challenge but I know that is now what most people want here.

Also a strip club without full nudity defies belief and all logic to be honest. In reality most strippers have side hustles as call girls or prostitutes. For me it seems the dev is afraid to embrace the setting he has chosen as a backdrop for the game. Imagine for example if a dev chooses a historical medieval setting as a backdrop for his game but was afraid to showcase the elements that existed in that setting (sword fighting, nobility, chivalry, peasentry etc). For me it is the exactly same situation here. If you choose a strip club as a background for your game then go full strip club.

Fair point, but there's exactly nothing wrong about this lifestyle that would warrant any stripper pornstar or 'traditional' prostitute to be 'saved' by anyone, obviously, as long as they gave their consent to do this type of work and nobody forces them to, OR it is, depending on what you personally think about this type of lifestyle when hearing a woman you're romantically interested in is involved in, but at the end of the day, they don't hurt anyone in their line of work, unlike certain other ppl who, for some very weird reason, are respected and even considered role models by some.

It's understandable why having a stripper or more as LI(s) doesn't sit well with some users, and if this was real life, I would've completely agreed with the sentiment, but it's not... this is a porn game, harmless fiction. We know who the two guys are who made Bare Witness possible and we know 100% that type of divisive fetish won't be in their story.

Anything other than this is just ppl trolling or nitpicking cuz of too much subjectivity. Only thing left to do if someone doesn't like the game or isn't ok with having a stripper as a fictional GF/waifu is to ignore it and move on to other titles, instead of repeating over and over again the same thing that was already posted at least a few times.

Hopefully, none of the current girls we met so far is a trap or a futa (I'm very suspicious of Fawn and Sapphire when it comes to this, despite the lack of unwanted 'proof'), and by being 'optional' is also meant as in the player decides whether she or he gets the extra package or not.

Think it's safe to say these two tags you guys have in the planned tag list there are a big no-no for a lot of ppl, not just me, and it'd be best to address the issue now before anyone gets the wrong idea about them and starts spreading misinformation down the line.

I agree with everything you said about the story, but the fact is that it's a business, they pay their bills through these games, it's all about supply and demand, if the customer demands it, they have no choice.
What the customer demands is superhero Mc,every woman falls in love with MC instantly,lots of sex scenes...

Imagine that you invest in an LI in the game for 2 years, first you meet her, you become friends and lovers. The first sex scene of the game comes after 2 years and you can imagine the loss of customers.
