Just my opinion, I found Patricia a bit slutty and gold diggerish (compared to the others). I know others didn't think it, it was just the way it came across to me. And when she chased Fawn away, she got put on my 'no' list.

I hated how they were talking about Fawn without knowing the context as to why made me feel bad for her.

High school work bullshit. Loved that our MC puts her in her place over that and that she then apologises and then asks if she can sit with us again.

Possibly one of the best moments in all the VN's I've played.

(However, caveat, not everyone gets along like a dumb happy rainbows around the MC...I like that there is conflict. it's natural and real. Tell me seriously, you really like everyone you have ever worked with...be honest.we all know the answer before you even type it out lol. I like that this is going to have conflict and even if we go for the harem...or just two girls etc, they might not actually like each other heh).

I never actually checked that, I was only nice to her from the start and just realized I never had a look at the other path.

It would be interesting to have a harem where at least two of the girls don't get along for a change. (but more of a "I know about her but I don't want to hear it" type of vibe rather than active hostility). Also from what I understand Patricia wants to have Mika's back rather than her personally hating Sylv.

I read Patricia differently to most people here, but I just can't see it. She does not strike me as the forgiving type, do her wrong and she is your enemy for life. The fact she chased Sylvania away and wouldn't even let her talk to MC, and then gets pissed at MC for speaking to her, doesn't look like someone who would accept her in the harem even with a 'don't tell me about it'. More like a 'you need to choose her or me.' That's how I understand her anyway.

But I agree with your sentiment, some friction in a harem would be a nice change.

Honestly same I was never really was much of a fan of Bare Witness but I love this game so far

The middle of BW was a low point of the game for me, I still enjoyed it but it did feel not as good compared to the beginning. However, towards the end it picked back up and surpassed the beginning of the game and ended up giving some of the best endings of any AVN I've played to date. Most games give the most half-assed endings/epilogues imaginable. Just blatantly lazy and not much thought put into them at all. Bare Witness on the other hand is the opposite, some of the most thoughtful effort I've seen put into the endings of an AVN before. For that I respect the devs greatly and was excited for their next project.

This one has a long way to go to catch Bare Witness for me. Bare Witness pathing, dialogue, girls and story was superb. Albeit a nitpick or two, it's in the top echelon for me. Storm & Slockie's outstanding track record, have me extremely confident this will get there too.

tbh I didn't like the pathing all that much in BW. For example I was playing the Mora solo path I was too nice to Athena didn't think I made any advances / choices towards her to show im interested her romantically next thing I know im on her path and had to restart.

But I like this better cause the few girls that I love so far just feel so much better overall to and I just really like how they been treating the MC hard to explain. But normally I don't like it when the girls get attached to a MC this quick yet in this game it feels really nice and wholesome to me so I just love that feeling. As it feels more wholesome then they want to fuck his brains out to me.

That's interesting. You like her and saw it as a positive moment in her development as a character. I don't like her and saw it as a "If I don't shut up, I'll lose the fish. So I'll just agree and start cuddling him."

Not disagreeing with you, it's just interesting that my dislike of the character made me see it in a completely different way.

Bare Witness on the other hand is the opposite, some of the most thoughtful effort I've seen put into the endings of an AVN before.

Their first game had some of the most fleshed-out, thoughtful, and best-written endings for the medium period. The beautiful models/visuals definitely don't hurt though, the game has many great things going for it. Just like the first game.

Not sure what notification you got but no, no new content. I would imagine that it will be at least another month until we get the next chapter and that's being very optimistic.

The game became available for pre-order on itch.io yesterday, so you might have seen something about that.

No new content yet though since the first release.
