I feel some of the people here have never played a single game or watched a single movie/show/anime in their lives.

when you play a AAA game, is the MC the chosen one or the village baker whose sole contribution to society is baking bread everyday? What would be more interesting to play for the general normie audience?

i feel like you and the guy above me are purposefully missing a point people are making. the suspension of disbelief is doing a lot of heavy lifting in this story so far, especially in the context of the story. this is not a anime where people posses supernatural abilities but a "romance" novel grounded in reality. keep in mind this is not me saying that the story itself is bad but it has its fair share of problems.

I think what you are purposely misunderstanding is that this is true for you, but not for them, or me for that matter. Everyone sees things differently, and that's fine, but assuming that your point of view is inherently more correct than someone (or especially multiple people) who disagree is a bit problematic, don't you think?

I agree this game and pretty much every game on this site has some level of suspension of disbelief. But I don’t think its so absurdly different than the others. Afterall the goal of the writer is to interest the player. If you want to make a game thats super realistic thats mirrors the monotone everyday real lifestyle, that might not be something that many people are willing to play.

I think one thing that may play into the suspension of disbelief problem for many games, is the length of time they take to develop.
To keep interest up, and some amount of money rolling in, developers decide to speed up or add things earlier than seems entirely plausible to many. A couple of days in-game, may take half a year to create. So often there will be a balancing act for the Devs, and different players will react differently to that

I asked on Discord, and the answer was that if you accept a lap dance from Fawn after she bumps Aurora, it will be harder (though not impossible) to form a full harem, because some other girls don't like Fawn — at least for now.
