it's obviously about kids... radiation therapy and chemo can in fact cause lower sperm count or actual infertility, which is why he didn't pull the trigger on all that. And surgery is pretty fucking dangerous in that area. There are workarounds for that obviously like freezing some sperm but let's just wait until we get the full story and his perspective on all this, because we don't know everything yet.
My theory regarding sperm freezing being a no is... that it could take much longer?
1. Fertility clinics can take much longer to schedule sesssions
2. while per cycle odds are higher for IVF compared to normal sex, the cumulative chance is higher for the latter (e.g 40% odds for one IVF session vs 20% for normal sex, but that 20% chance is highly frequent, whereas the 40% is limited)
Accounting for the limited time he has, the birth could happen after he dies which would probably create a lot of issues when it comes to inheritence which is the whole point.
After the statement that Hannah has tried to call MC every week from a different number, I find myself wondering, why.

She's a new character in-game, but one already shared in character previews.
That is actually a pretty interesting theory I had not considered.

True. OTOH, I could see "tall" as an asset for a dancer--so either the club was specifically looking for tall dancers, or the people looking for that kind of work tend toward tall. But that leaves only Coral as shorter than average.

No i mean, as in she wouldnt be pregnant, she would have already given birth by now. But I could be wrong and maybe hsi breakup was fairly recent, I'm not sure if the game mentions a timeline.

His breakup was only a few weeks before the start of the game, from what I recall. Which actually makes the timing quite plausible.
Edit: I could be mistaken though on that timing.

At the beginning of Ch. 2, we see the break-up, and then an interval of 14 weeks, IIRC. So she's maybe 4 months' pregnant?

Maybe she has just learned she is his sister and can carry on the bloodline herself.
Oh, sure--I'm not endorsing this theory, just thinking through it. If she's been trying to reach MC every week, from different numbers, for 3+ months, it's probably something serious, but whether it's this is completely unknown. But it's an interesting thought, and if it is the case, I think it would explain her being so persistent in trying to reach him.
