Unfortunately my funds are depleted and I can't afford to support. We'll see what happens next year maybe

i played chap 1 and 2 and this is utterly shit yet, lets see ch 3 and 4...no sex scenes in the whole chap 2 with chris that is the only one that interests me, this is going to be a fucking 1 star rate game if it keeps wasting my fucking time, in ch 2 the story did not progress a fucking shit , ch 1 is by far better

Did you even read anything? By chapter 2 it should be painfully obvious that you won't get into Chris' pants anytime soon, especially if you play a male. This is not a porn game, this is an adult game. Think Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Fallout,... with extra spice. IF you want a quick wank this is not that kind of game.

Prediction:
After over a year of waiting, we are now 19 days away from NOT receiving the Chapter One to Four rebuild. IMHO

Yes, this prediction is pessimistically cynical. Yes, I will humbly and gratefully bow down and eat crow if I am wrong.

However, I ask the avid followers of this dev to not attack me personally for believing in the reputation that this dev has developed over time and also, if this prediction does turn out to be true... treat my predictions with a little more respect.

To what end exactly?

What are you trying to build a reputation as someone who predicts that others will stumble with difficult tasks?

Why do you care if people believe your predictions, which by the way, are not exactly groundbreaking. It is like someone pulling a random card from a deck and saying "This time is not going to be the Ace of Spades and I hope you will all will respect my ability to predict cards if it turns out not to be the Ace of Spades"

Like, wanting credit for the predictions that will inevitably eventually be correct are silly enough, but the ones that are all but guaranteed to be right most of the time are even more pointless.

You were at a cross-roads, you had two choices before you: go and quietly put in the time on your own projects and leave this one alone, or come in here and try to tear this dev down a little further.

So why should anyone treat you with anymore respect than you've shown?

To add to this, and at risk of pulling us more off topic:

This is not about tearing you down for the accuracy of your predictions.

The misconception people have is that being correct about something is inherently valuable. It is an easy trap to fall into because we so often reward people for correctness instead of kindness.

It is so much more valuable to show support to creative passionate people than to kick them while they are down.

I am genuinely looking forward to the next version of this game, but if it never comes I would rather have supported the dev, because the world is better when creative people are willing to take a risk than when we browbeat them into a box.

And honestly, predicting that someone else will fail at a massive task they have set for themselves to the benefit of others is kind of gross when you are wrong, but somehow more gross when you are right.
