The option to "search the drawer" should appear to then recieve the book.

Is this another case of there being no "select" button, or are you being shot down by the PTA?
For the former, please apply Patch 1.9.4 properly as per the above post. If the error persists, try starting a new game and check again. Still persisting? Post your error on the main site.
For the latter, corrupt them more.

if its possible to update slowly till the actual then could some1 PM me the update files ? if i update straight to the actual then it wont even start

The way the engine works(and the fact that development is actually focused on the engine to begin with) even some minor updates require a fully new game(or at least a reloading of events) and 1.9 had some pretty big changes so there is no way to "update" or transfer a game.

Also there are no real ways to update between major updates in general since these already change most of the files and there's no point keeping a list of updates for every version when the current system of "download latest base and apply patches made after that" already seems too complicated for some people.
For example the latest 1.9.4 update leaves some old files behind that need to be deleted manually by the user since the team didn't want to force people to re-download the whole game so soon even though that's actually one of the main reasons why they use this clunky "base + patch + new game" system.

I'm sorry to say this, but you'll just have to get used to starting a new game every few weeks or months if you want updates. There are no workarounds for this. Even editing the game's stats after launch doesn't help you all the time since that stuff breaks events left and right.

Some proposals must be unlocked first to be voted ( like the bondange/nake uniform ) and i can't find the requirement of teacher/student . Maybe some more

Hey man, always look around in the actual thread before posting something like this cuz I literally talked about this just before you.

The way the engine works(and the fact that development is actually focused on the engine to begin with) even some minor updates require a fully new game(or at least a reloading of events) and 1.9 had some pretty big changes so there is no way to "update" or transfer a game.

This applies to .3 and .4 as the smartphone feature had several changes after .2 even with simple patches.

Error report

So, it says you're running 1.9.3. There are two ways to fix this.
1: Check previous posts and look for a file called Underwood4.ve.xml and overwrite your existing one.
2: Download the 1.9.4 Update and let that overwrite all files.

Or do both of these things. Couldn't hurt.

Have you set the policy to allow Student/Student relationships? That might be it. Other than this, I can't think of anything.

I'm having an issue where when I ask any character to come home, I always get the "embarrassed" response. There are characters that I have decent relationships with, but I still get rejected. Has the game been tweaked to where you have to have a spectacular relationship before you can invite home?

I'm not even sure if bestiality has ever been part of the game so I can't help with that, but all kinds of shota/loli content has been removed from the game when the HHS+ team picked it up for personal and legal reasons, but if you just imagine that all the characters are NOT 18+ then you should be fine.
