Sorry for the late answer(s)!
I think the difference between NTRPG 1/2 and this is that the antagonists feel a bit lackluster in comparison in Henteria.
Could you tell me why? I am not trying to criticize anything or anyone, but I felt that both NTRPG games, especially number 2, the antagonists were just there to fulfill their role as villains, with little personalities and motivations of their own. However, now that I'm making a game myself, I realize how hard it not to fall into the stereotypical NTR villain.^^
speaking about chap 2, sometimes when i was searching for optional quest or little secret scattered around the village, i have see that it became quite fast boring continue to search each house over and over (especially since we need to enter physically in each room to see inside it). have u ever think about some sort of visually mark (or sprite spark for exemple) to put on the door of the house to let it indicated that inside it the player can (or must, for certain quest) see or interact with something?
Actually, I've been thinking about implementing a board that would serve 2 purposes: one would be a description of each character that changes as the story progress (still thinking about this one), and another one which would be to list every available side quest, classified either as X's questline or as a misc. side-quest. There, the player would be able to know how many quests are available in the game so far, whether they already completed them or not, and if they haven't, when they can find them and which triggers are needed for those quests to be available (need to do x and y quest before, etc...). I think this could partly solve your issue.
That's my approach and still from time to time there's a story where the MC is sympathetic enough to make me feel bad, so I have to question why am I reading a story that's built around bad things happening to a decent person. A twisted setup, yet I keep coming back to it.
Thanks for the update, looking forward to more milf action!
You're welcome, and thanks for the comment : )
pixel animation improved alot, but im 2 hours in and the firs h scene is a flashback...
edit: following goras wife changes to bridge scene, and bridge scene proceeds to freeze cannot finish
Yes, I've been prioritizing slow build-up and tried my best to avoid shoe-horning sex scenes into the game. However, as we progress there will be plenty of sexy content in the future : )
About your bug, two quests (1 main quest and 1 side quest) are clashing with each other. From Update 3 on (Update 2 is already released), the side-quest won't be available anymore and will be considered failed if not done until a certain point in the story. This should fix the problem. You could use one of the saves to get past that.
I think I'll pledge next month, I really liked what I've seen from Demo + Update 1, the only problem was kinda small amount of content, but quality is there, you improved a lot from Chapter 1, and that's good to see. Sprites are still not on the level of NTRPG2/3/4, but maybe next game that could be improved upon? Other than that, there are small amount of typos, but great job overall! Now if we'll only get better endings than in Chapter 1, they were kind of lackluster for me, because heroines were not engaging with the bad guys that much, and it was missing proper "longer" scenes. I'm positively surprised!
Thanks! One thing I've decided to do this time is to dedicate more time to the endings. In HC1, I gave myelf 1 month to do all 2 endings, and I had to rush a little. In HC2, the endings development will span overall 2 month minimum, to give me more time to develop longer endings, and maybe more than 3.
