This is very interesting and i think i agree with all of your points. First one feels like so mucht ime is spent on these girls who have no design and are just there... hell, alys gets corrupted at the very beginning of story! and she is still hanging around etc. we are here to see the main girls get corrupted and changed, not these irrelevant side girls. every scene with them could be more scenes with the main girls. At the risk of sounding overly negative, I'm definitely feeling more mixed on Chapter 3 as we're moving into the endgame... and having had way too much time to kill on my hands lately, I think it comes down to three major factors for me.
1. The amount of focus put on "mandatory" side-characters in storylines. Particularly Naevyr and Izinya, who feel so much more intrusive with the way that they dominate Haylen's quest compared to Sergeant Alys as part of Cyanna's story, or Meredith in Rose's.

2. The dizzying number of custom maps for almost every single quest. While I appreciate the amount of effort that is being put into crafting them... I can't help but feel like it might be too ambitious in scope, to where so much of the game takes place in claustrophobic "bottle zones" that discourage exploration as actual gameplay because each map is basically being made during one update cycle, and then promptly abandoned to work on the next one. Instead of making the world feel larger by having so many areas, it has the opposite effect of feeling extremely disconnected from the main city. I just wish that the same amount of effort was a bit more consolidated, to have more of the story happen within familiar areas of the city, and fewer but more in-depth "field trips" to new areas. Right now, the city feels like it pales in comparison to the village from Chapter 2.
3. This one might be a case of rose-colored glasses because it has been several years since I've touched Chapter 2... but it feels like a lot more scenes in Chapter 3 are just happening on their own completely outside of Leto's POV. I'm slightly to blame here, because I always forget to switch over to the "partial POV" option with each new update, but even in that version, it feels like Leto is a lot more distant from everything going on behind his back compared to Noah. And even as the corruption has progressed, it feels like that aspect of the NTR is still lagging pretty far behind the curve to me.
I think this will probably be the last thing I say about the game for a few months until I have something more positive or at least balanced to contribute, because there is a delicate line between giving honest feedback and just being an obnoxious critic who constantly whines about everything... I just hope that I haven't already crossed it.![]()
second point i want to expand... idk, i hate to call back + compare to other ntr games but they always happen in the same town/village/area entirely. scars of summer has it so when the game starts, you can go to every single map. the city, the town, the strip club, the seedy motel, gymnasium, locker room, school etc.
so the fun of the game is seeing these familiar areas you spend time with your gf get changed, or seeing her start spending time at the dodgy locations as she gets corrupted by fucked up guys. we have a brothel on this district map but nothing ever happens there story-wise. wouldnt it be hot if we had a free roam event where we see lily or rose sneak into the brothel one night? or whatever. too much time spent on story missions and less time spent on the corruption happening to these girls, these memories etc.
third point- i agree, again!. i love the partial pov and it got me addicted to this game lol but it feels like i put partial pov on and still see so much stuff. developer does too much telling vs showing, which is hard but i think important. ntr isnt about seeing the sex, it's about knowing it's happening but just out of sight... and once we finally see the sex i beleive should be the climax and end of the story. instead it feels like we've been seeing sex for a very long time.
