Hmmm, the idea behind the orbs was really to give a small hint when there were freeroam events to be seen, and as an extra, where players could find them if they clicked on the orbs, while still leaving some mystery. I don't really want to overload them with info, and I'm not sure adding more visual cues in a room that's already crowded with text and stuff, etc... would be a good idea in the first place. That might change in the future though, if I find there's a whole lot of people who want that.
In the meanwhile, you could take a look at the end of the walkthrough. There's an extensive list that tells you where to find the events, at what time, and under what conditions. It'll be easy to figure out what's new so you can go check it out and not waste time checking the same event several times in a row.
(I could, however, add a number 1,2,3... to the text that shows up after clicking on the orb. That way, if the number changes, you'll be able to tell there's a new event.)
