Was bored and I downloaded Inatari Tales... I'm not even sure if "inspired" by HC would be an accurate description. So far it's basically HC2 with goblins.

I can't get past the adult sprites. For all the limitations of the HC1 and 2's smaller, less detailed sprites based off on the default ones available on RPGM, at least they didn't look like dinosaurs.

Not really. Virtually all pixel based RPGM games are trash even before you factor in the story. The "pixel sprite" has not become more refined, it is just as difficult as its always been, the core of the pixel sprite RPGM is not the storyline.
