I have to say, Lily was my least favourite romance character in the game, but this side quest 23 was golden. Nice work, N_taii!

How far along is the story at this point? I've been keeping an eye on the first post update logs but I can't get a read on how far along in corruption/influence/change the main girls are.

Speak for yourself.
1) This IS the best RPG NTR game out there by light-years margin.
2) Changing DOT scenes to art/CG would only serve to deteriorate the game's quality.
Some generic art - which is literally everywhere whilst you can probably count decent NTR games with DOT scenes on the fingers - would alsmost totally be devoid of some special charm and immersion of seeing various DOT scenes happening at different times of week/day while you roam around.
I.e. to me it's kind of more immersive to see someone getting banged in the window of the 2nd floor, as this building becomes visible as you move your char around, instead of going to some marked area just to have a screen sized porn pic to pop up suddenly, with some dialogues and some pics changing one another after that.
And I don't know how to explain it exactly or if it qualifies as mystery NTR, but there is a a lot of cases where MC is oblivious cause he just can't see what is going on from his vantage point obviously but you on the other hand can from your birds eye view which is quite interesting and can be... stimulating. Probably the thing is that you can move your char around and see the world and people going about their business, while some scene which your MC cannot see but you can is happening during all that time - which can bring some special NTR sting/angst. Art or CG would just interrupt gameplay until the scene plays out.
I'm likely referring here mostly to freeroam events, but still. Even when the game pauses the gameplay to play out some scripted scenes with dialogues (or show them in reminiscence room), they still are being coherent with the rest of the game. Again, IMO there is some special immersion or charm can be found in being able to visit the very same places and rooms before/after the NTR sex scenes, literally walk in-game on the same floor where somebody got fucked.
Also, on the subject of art... N_Taii is not an artist. He does some sprite work but most of the sprites and character artwork he uses are commissioned. Which means the animations, profile pics for each character, and their full body CG in the "characters" menu are all paid for with the money he takes in from his patreon. He does well, but not so well as to not feel these expenses. If the HC games had CG three things would happen.
- First, N_Taii's finances would take a major hit because we've allowed the pricing for custom artwork online to absolutely balloon out of control with most artists demanding several hundred USD for their work. Those who operate in the porn space, especially those with a specific fetish as their primary market, can basically price their commissions at whatever they want to. CGs would limit how much N_Taii would be able to work on the game because he'd need to supplement his finances with outside employment to a greater degree.
- Second, it would slow down development. Anyone who has subbed to his patreon knows that the PoLs will occasionally indicate that he's waiting on the artists working on his sprites and made less direct progress because of this. Add CGs into the mix and it could slow down development considerably.
- Third, N_Taii has a very specific niche. Much of his fan base probably wouldn't be a part of his fan base if the focus was on CG artwork. With sprite animation he's pretty much the top of the pile with few, if any, competitors coming anywhere close to the level of quality that N_Taii produces. His only real competition is from the Japanese market and few, if any, are as ambitious as what he produces. If the CG became the focus I would stop subscribing to his patreon because he'd no longer be hitting a niche I would be interested in and I'm fairly certain that would hold true to a decent sized chunk of his subscribers. The niche that Henteria Chronicles hits is very specific even before you factor in the NTR.

Fr, It would be if there was a mom NTR. Without that, for me it still loses to HC2 in the trilogy.

last you played was the previous update focusing on rose and cynna, this time its the dwarf Lily, next one is Haylen update, which hasn't come out yet
Now that the public version is finally out I can comment on what I've been wanting to share since the $20 version was released.
Honestly at the beginning of the game Lily didn't interest me at all, she was the design that I liked the least, besides her route was going to have bdsm and it's not something I like.
But after playing her route the truth is that little by little I got fond of the character hahaha, I really like how she looks with her hair down, hopefully as her corruption progresses I'll use it that way more often.
Although she's still my least favorite of the four main characters, I think I'm going to look forward to the updates focused on her a bit more
I really like the idea of using Lily's emotions with the mirror for her corruption, I think I haven't seen such an interesting and curious method of corruption for a long time.
