game dev.... my thoughts on the monster chase bit.... i hate you and this game. fucking slime ;-;

The slime is a though one, isn't it ?^^ I was thinking about reducing its speed, but I found it doable once you get the hang of it. Don't try to go straight through the bridge, circle the trees a bit first and once you feel ready, sprint through the map !

That's a tough one to say. The only thing I can say for sure is that I won't drag it on for years on by adding new features every time, so I'd say a couple months at most. I'll be working hard on that one, don't worry. Cute avatar btw : )

I get what you mean, but remember this is only the demo version, not the full game. NTRPG games are meant for build-up, without throwing sex scenes every 2 minutes at the beginning, so I tried to put as much as possible at the beginning, but the amount remains pretty low compared to what is going to come (demo version goes up until the NTR trigger which starts everything). As for the randomness, well, it isn't going to be like that for the whole game, but if I had to put a screenshot, then I'd rather put that than any screenshot that shows nothing interesting.
Did you watch the video ? You get a better feel about what's in the game than the screenshots only. Anyway, cheers for feedback, it's always welcome !

Because Ace has the most pre-made sprite resources for porn scenes. And since I didn't know where I would go with that game, I decided to go with Ace. Next game is definitely going to be MV though, now that I almost know what I'm doing.
As for the quests, well, I tried to make it a bit more than just the "go kill 10 mushrooms" types with the resources I had at my disposition. I'd be happy to hear which you found boring and why. (well, the rest of the game is going to be less quest based and more story based now that the base story is established).

I just finished the demo and it was pretty good. The only thing that kinda annoyed me was the riddle near the end. I knew the answer but putting a capital letter in the word had it be wrong. Also it would be nice for a bit more chances of some lewd things happening. It had a solid first day and a few things here and there and a really solid ending but playing two plus hours was kind of a drag. Still looking forward to seeing the next parts.

Please take your time and dont let them (us) rush you. Id honestly prefer you to take it slow, build the story and then take your sweet time and go all the way (ntrpg 2's third week is by far my favourite part of any adult game) than rush just to give us a completed game in the next 3-4 months.

I'll make sure to include the answer with a capital letter as well in the next update. As I mentioned above, the lewdness will come in the next updates, now that the NTR setting has been triggered. The game should play a bit more like the first day now, with less puzzles and quest and more cutscenes as well as escalating sex scenes (this won't get hardcore from the get-go, because it wouldn't make much sense story-wise^^)

Went through the demo. I really think this has a lot of potential!
The NTRPG series has a bit of a soft spot for me since it was one of the first translated NTR games I've played.
The setting was established pretty well on the first day. The sex scenes were nice (Big fan of that animation scene included in the dream sequence) and I'm really hopeful for future updates. It's a bit of a shame for me about the unavoidable NTR but hopefully there's a happy ending for the MC (probably not).
The walking around was a bit tedious, especially since you couldn't skip some of the text, but the puzzles and riddles were nice. At least there's a mechanic in place where you need to work a bit to progress.
Great work so far and I really hope you keep working on this!

Oh, but the last thing I'd want to do is rushing the game. However, I'm confident I could finish it in a few months if nothing unexpected happens. Considering that I started this game towards the end of August with absolutely no prior experience in RPGmaker whatsoever, that I also had to make a trailer video which took me almost a whole month as well as looking for sound effects for my scenes and mixing them, I definitely think a few months is within the realm of possible. Besides, there'll less quests and more cutscenes. Cutscenes take more time to make, but they're usually bugproof or easy to fix.

So yeah, I'll see how much time it is going to take : )

I have the end of the game planned in my head already, and there'll be two endings you can choose from, with a non-NTR one (dunno if it's a happy ending though. Kinda, I guess^^). The only thing I didn't like in NTRPG games were the ending that lacked a bit of something imo, so I'll try to make it my own way^^ I'll keep animation scenes going, but it'll be 1-2 each update, because they're expensive (but worth the price I think).
Anyway, thanks for the feedback. I'll make sure the MC can rest his legs from now on by having him running around less

Increase speed item added to the list of things to implement in the next update. Hopefully it'll make the running around in the game a bit more bearable. I'll see how I can do that.

Yup, your maps are big and its getting a bit annoying holding down the shift button. Also dont remove the save anywhere option, its just gonna make your game unnecessarily difficult/annoying.

Maybe you should also extend a bit the sex loops, because some scenes (for example in the prologue outside of gary's cabin and walking ezekiel to his room) ended too fast and its a shame for the work you put on making them..

Btw there is also a potential bug that dunno if its been mentioned. In the beans collecting quest, if you dont enter the map where the woodcutters are with 17 beans (i entered with 7) after they stop taliking the game is stuck. You might want to check it and fix it for the next update.

Anyway, i really liked it, the characters are really good and i missed this kind of gameplay / way of storytelling. Good job and plz keep going.

Yes, the save anywhere option is definitely going to stay. New updates might contain bugs, so saving anywhere should be a top priority.
I can also make the prologue and the ending scenes longer, but the thing I'm afraid about is that it wouldn't fit the story. Why wouldn't Celestine react right away after being groped ? It wouldn't fit her personality. Same for Eleonora, especially since it's almost in plain sight. But I'll see what I can do.
This bug you mentioned is quite weird. You should be able to enter the Clearing no matter the amount of beans you have, which I did without any issues during all my playtests. I'll see if I can reproduce the bug you mentioned.

There is a couple of bugs. For the one mentioned above about the beans, I got something similar, for me it is because if I cut the text short and the npc stopped the first part of her walk too soon and once she started to walk again she will got stuck in the trees and never left the map. Something similar happen in the big scene after we meet Ezekiel. At the end of the scene where everyone leave the table, I did not wait long enough to let all the NPC leave and the conversation at the table restarted again this time without any NPC present. The scene got stuck when Ezekiel was taken upstairs for a second time. Both time I had to restart the game completely.

As some as say before there a lot to running around, the maps could be smaller. Even getting to the fairy to get some tips take time. The monster chase was a bit frustrating, but it did offer some challenge to a mostly linear intro.

Good start for the story, will you introduce the other Valkyries as well or it will keep it to the 3 girls introduced? The one bad thing about the story, I feel the way Eleonora let herself "played with" was really fast, I really hope we will learn what was done/say when Ezekiel was alone with Eleonora in her study to explain it.

Hey, this game so far is awesome and it has the potential to even best the NTRPG series! Good job! Probably someone else said it but, can you make the maps smaller? Not in the sense of increasing the movement speed, but when a NPC is walking away or coming after you, those things tend to be quite frustrating.

Another thing, can you put the fairy in your room? I think it would be more accesible and faster; my biggest fear with this game is how easy it seems to miss H-Scenes. But hey, is the demo! Perhaps I am wrong, still, REALLY nice job, good silly humour, this game has potential, take your time!

Some more info that might be helpful - screenshot of the error - maybe something is up with that mp3 file?

EDIT: I got it to work just extracting to the desktop instead of in a nested folder.
