It was good until v0.3. Then the dev introduced the hero's mom, tried to shift the tone of the MC but it made the story worse. Then in v0.5 it all fell apart with worse art, an even more fragmented story and too many characters.

I disagree for the story part. It showed a more broken and betrayed version of the MC and a more human interaction than what he had been like since the beginning of the game. I feel she betrays her son to openly, but other than that

Is there really no plans to return Cecilia personality to be more like before she became so ridiculously depraved? I still prefer her back when the worse thing she could do was Kiss the MC

i don't need her to go back to being so pure, but I did think the point of the whole "training" sequence with her doing maid work, learning to cook etc. was to make her a better person and more understanding and responsible ruler.

In act 3 tho, it seems like Mars has just given up caring entirely at best and at worst actively encourages Cecile to be her most horrid, power obsessed, narcisstic self.

Saves are fucked in this version, neither old saves or new saves work. Loading just brings you back to the beginning of 5.8.

i really don't understand what's breaking the current test version, but i loaded a save that had all the possible progress for every path (basically a save that i have just to choose a path for new updates) and it just kept breaking the saves and blocking rollback, but for some reason it fixes itself if you save the game during the throne scene (where Mars harasses Erin in front of the new characters) i don't understand why it does that but i'll take it.

Wait, there are actually people who think this game is badly written?
It’s without a doubt the best-written game on the site, and on top of that it’s Original.

• It’s not another Teen Harem where the devs try to sell us “traumatized girls” when they’re literally just going to college…
• It’s not Adult Harem either, where everyone acts like they’re 18 and the “drama” in the background is barely believable.
• And the worst ones… the Fantasy types. Harems as long as my arm where you spend more time skipping troll content than actually caring about anything genuinely Tragic.

Personally, I was fast-forwarding just to see the Sexe scenes, which I didn’t even find. I had to figure out how to unlock the rest of the content, and only then did I actually look at the dialogues and damn, I’ve never been this surprised.

Just the character of Mars is an anomaly on this site. He cheats like every other character here, sure, but unlike the others the devs actually make him less perfect by giving him a troubled past you genuinely feel in his motivations, and through characters from his past who come back into the story.
It’s stupidly simple, but that’s the basics of narrative design, and seeing that in a FAPPING game honestly shocks me.
And the other girls? Not even gonna start... it’s even more genius.

I’d say the only problem with the game, and it really depends on everyone’s taste, is how far the characters’ corruption goes and the fetishes you unlock as you play.
Some people will think it goes too far, others won’t like the feminization. But one thing’s for sure: objectively, narratively, the game is impeccable. And harems are already a minefield because of the lack of tension around the white knight dynamic... so doing it in a fantasy setting? Forget it.

I’ll admit I’m really curious which game you all hold in such high regard that you can look down on this one.
Among the top-rated games, the only halfway credible one is "Game of Hearts", and without disrespecting that game, not a single character comes close to the depth of Cecilia.

It's unquestionably the best corruption game on this website, 9.5/10 when the closest competitor is 8.5/10 at most. Also makes it the best corruption game ever made I would assume.

Even the last patches have been top tier which makes it one of the rare games that don't get worse over time. it's just unfortunate this patch didn't have any cecille or erin content in my path.

New characters i don't care about and their corruption is like automatically and too fast.

I stopped playing the updates because I'm so fucking tired of replaying the same part of the games over and over to get to the new content, since the saves are a broken mess and the dev doesn't seem to use the "paths" option.
There's also the wasted dev time used in gay stuff and femdom shit. And well the current story isn't as engaging, time skips are shitty in the majority of stories.

Dissapointing since this game have great scenes but it's sad watching it fell off

I couldn't put exact words on how this game started off pretty good but then got increasingly bad but this about summed up why i dropped it completely a while ago. Mostly the gay part. It didn't have such an unavoidable focus on that before. It's a completely different game now than it was at the start.

I come back to this from time to time as I like corruption and some of it is pretty good in this one. But I always quit at some point and am not sure why. I think at the start the MC is ambivalent a lot of the time and I like it, and then at some point he, and everyone else, just actually becomes assholes and I stop caring about anyone. And stupid, like their INT stat just drops to 0 and they become anime Naruto level stupid, not sure how to explain that rofl.

I don't like it either but that was always in the plans.
It just needed some time in the story until Erin was the focus. To catch up and balance the content there were many erin related updates so.....
The double edged sword however was that all the hype and first impressions were generated with the story but also with cecilia and sera scenes. They carried the first impressions on release and with elena even to the midgame.

If erin with his gay content was there from the beginning as well than I think the whiplash wouldn't be as much.

Then again this games community is full of femboy lovers (nothing wrong with that) so this might have shifted to more gay content down the road than initially planned. I dare you to visit the discord and see for yourself xD

I really dont understand this new trend to make cucks a gays. I okay with feminisation, but when bull started to want fuck cuck, its really confuse and causing rejection to me. Turning straight content into gay content without any reasons. I could understand it if Mars had from the beginning thing for mans, but there was literally no any hints for it in story
