Hello All,

I'm never really sure what to put in these update posts sometimes, other than to say I am working on the next installment of HEROES OF CELTICA: DARK DRUID, which will be v0.10.1

Wait, I've also been working on STELLAR INCOGNITA these past few weeks as well! For those that don't know, there's still more story branches to add to my original game, STELLAR INCOGNITA and I have been slowly working my way through a list of all the images I need to render before I write the final scenarios, which are all in "ROUTE A". In the end, there should be at least 1000 new images added to the absolute final version of the game. No timeframes on when it will be done, however.

As for DARK DRUID, we have come up to some major story events, so v0.10.1 will be focusing on the Aideen route and the Caz/Clio route. The Saivah route will get a lot of treatment in v0.11.1 as a big confrontation comes to a head. For Patrons, the bonus route continues, with the Scythian deciding whether he wants to make his Sidhe a lair of magick users or a lair of warriors - the coming update will begin the warrior path with Scortha (or Scáthach, as it is spelled in modern times).

Hello All,

Here is an update to let you know that work on HEROES OF CELTICA v0.10.1 is continuing, but I am behind schedule. I've been sick for the past week and I've lost a big chunk of development time, especially this weekend just past. At this stage, I am still making the images for the main story lines, a sample of which is above.

I'm trying to recover and get back into a steady rhythm of output, but it's going to take some time. I will be in a better position to tell you how things are going after the coming weekend, when I plan to get a solid few sessions of work completed. I will keep you all updated.

To make up for this, I have plans to do a mini-update in December/January that is in addition to the regular updates. This should enable me to eventually nullify the delay in the medium term with some extra content and story progression.

Hello All,

The weekend is over, so I will give you an update on my progress. I'm still a little unwell as my sickness trails off and it seems like whatever I caught has a long tail in the recovery. But that aside, I have made solid progress over the weekend on the next update. I am about two-thirds of the way through the image content required.

To explain what I am doing at the moment, it's basically a big set piece that includes paths for Caz-Cora, Clio and Aideen. The story has all three heroines at the border with the Kingdom of Cymru. I have to say, the action in the next update is about the same as the Battle of Moy Tura in the introduction. If you don't mind spoilers and want a general idea of what is going to happen next, refer to the Second Branch of the Welsh Mabinogion - "Branwen, Daughter of Lyr".

Since I am behind my usual cadence for a game update, what I am planning is this - when the next update is released, it will have the patron-exclusive content, as usual. Then, I will get straight onto the next patron-exclusive update and release a smaller update as soon as that is done. So essentially, the patron-exclusive path will get a double-update before I steady the ship and resume the normal update and content schedule after that.
