Druid is basically MC simply making strange bedfellows with the many shortcomings of his and working around them to succeed.
There is no growth, as there is no point. There is scheming and magic, not turning into a one-eyed monster, not a chance.

There is already scenes where he hears dark voice or something trying to influence him. It might be Balor or might be something else. There is a possibility. Also judging the entire plot based on the picture is bad choice, the dev needs to keep the story elements out of promo images. Else there wont be suspends or it's spoiler. You can disagree but unless you're the dev or the story writer, you cannot for sure say these elements wont happen. We can discuss and disagree till cow goes home but lets not act like know the whole plot. From the dev's post, he sometimes do some adhoc decision change on the fly. So what is the actual story is anyones guess

Hello All,
I just wanted to give a quick update as to when the next installment of HEROES OF CELTICA is going to drop. As you may have seen from my previous update, the next installment will have content for the Champion and Warlord routes. The Champion content is all finished and I am making the last of the images for the Warlord content right now.
My goal was to get the update out by Friday, but that may be a little optimistic. More realistically, we are looking at the first Sunday of April. Thanks for your patience! In some good news, next-next update of "Dark Druid" will be quicker to release, because a lot of it is already done.
The public release of v0.4.0 will be at the same time as next weekend's release.

i think the dev have stated to have two path for Druid. Normal Mind Control & Dark Druid Corruption Mind Control.
Also the release for 5.0 is delayed to next week. I think this is the longest gap between releases

"HEY! Didn't you say the latest update of HEROES OF CELTICA was coming on Sunday?"

I did and... it's not.
The time I thought I had to devote to getting the next update out the door was less than expected. Mainly, real-life work commitments ran into overtime. Unfortunately, I do have to work for a living and making games is a hobby.

So, what next?
What I have to do now is finish writing the WARLORD part of the next update. All the images are complete and because of how I work, I ended up making more images than I thought I would - the story just naturally took itself there. When the writing for all the scenes are done (I think there are about 13 scenes, from memory), I will do some play-testing and it will be out.

How much longer?
Wish I could say with 100 per cent accuracy, but I can't because work commitments are still quite high at the moment. But I want you to know I am working on the next update on a daily basis with as much free time as I have available to me. But if I had to guess, I would say before the next weekend.

Version 0.5.5 of HEROES OF CELTICA is done.

Almost.

The images and writing are complete, but I just need to do the final checks. That last 10 per cent involves:

• Playing through the update in different permutations, to make sure the pathing works and optional events trigger properly when their conditions are met.
• Spelling errors and other typos.
• Cleaning up mistakes in the code which lead to error screens.
• Ensuring all assets are present and are properly defined.
• Adding extra sound effects and music to improve the atmospherics of the playthrough.

The next update post you get will be the release. I estimate this update to be at least one-third bigger than the other updates so far, so get ready for that!

I've been playing this game for a while — it has great potential, but I think it would work better if it were made using RPG Maker or a similar engine. Just my opinion though.

There is too many characters

Each character has the path of going with the flow or challenging the establishment. Depending on if the girls are with the establishment, looking for a strong mating partner, or against the establishment, as a course of action players can take with their choices so that actual scenes are unlocked, or else the story goes on rails and MC being this outsider non-variable in the lore of this game, the other characters will simply take over the main plot of the game from MC and we can all feel sidelined.

In my rather varied experience, few things are actually better in RPGMaker. I would almost go as far as to say that nothing is "better" in RPGMaker, just generally simpler to make.
