Some people act like GxG isn't NTR for some reason, which makes it difficult to know if there is NTR or not. It sounds like this game is actually NTR-free from the comments here, though.

Alright, I had hoped this wouldn't be necessary, but I feel this needs to be cleared up before it takes even more on a life of its own.

Repeating the gist of my reply to r246 from itch.io, though with additional info and clarifications:

That's just not true.

First of all, let's clear up what you're referring to with "NTR" and when the content in question got added, so people who only read your claims without having played TM! don't get the wrong idea:

- some goofy dreams of the protagonist, where he slips into the role of a horny photographer, and imagines photoshooting some maids (who behave more easy in his dreams than they really would). In some later dreams, he brings along his fictional quadruplet siblings/clones, but those later dreams are all optional.

- The "Moist Memories" category on the 'Carnal Crystal':
Lets you optionally look into some naughty memories of some of the naughtier girls, from a time (long) before meeting the MC. Kinda like that porn video of that church girl in CK, only easier to avoid.

- The "Forbidden Fantasies" category on the Carnal Crystal:
This just has 2 fantasies with the MC as the only guy, and some GxG fantasies by the MC.

Other than that, TM has some optional lesbian content (usually connected to FFM content with the MC), and one lonely (skippable) netori scene where the MC takes Mary away from her cheating husband for good.

That's it. That's all the "feels like NTR to some people" content TM has.

As for the "in the final update" claim:

- 6 out of 9 dreams have been in the game since 2022 (TM launched at the end of July 2022, so they appeared early).
- 1 scene where you can choose whether you want it to be a dream or memory was added in 2023.
- Only 2 dreams were added in 2024, only 1 of them in the last update (and that's one's pretty mellow).
- Most of the optional lesbian content is from 2022 and 2023.
- Only the bulk of memories/fantasies is from 2024, but only 2 of the memories were added in the final content update.

Frankly, looking at my summary, I'm not even sure where your statement is even coming from.
Sounds like you misinterpreted someone's post or some changelog, and didn't do any actual fact-checking.

Yes.
I understand people's narrower "harem" definition by now, and "No NTR" means "No NTR".

There'll be some optional lesbian content in HHR (much less of it and less dirty than in TM!, only if the player explicitly chooses it to happen, probably limited to just a few sidegirls), but the protagonist is and will remain the only male character in that world, just like the game description states.
No dreams, fantasies, memories or anything of that sort this time, either.
Not now, not late in the dev cycle, not in some spin-off.

And yes, that's a promise.
HHR will be and was always meant to be a purer harem experience than TM.

It frankly disappoints me a little that some people are so excessively paranoid and distrustful just because I used to be pretty oblivious about 18+ genres and tag definitions and made some beginner mistakes as a result, until I learned things the hard way with TM.

I am someone who cannot stand NTR(GxG is NTR, don't @ me), and I wanted to try and explain things from my point of view.

And just as a disclaimer: I never played TM due to some of the comments about some of the scenes and such, so I don't know the specifics of that game.

My biggest issue with a lot of these things regarding "optional content" and "dreams" is that while they are optional, if they are not labeled as to what they contain, I click them. And despite it not being canon or whatever, I cannot just forget what I already saw.

For snowflakes like me it's about feelings, and they can remain even if I can Rollback.

I am also someone who has someone the "OMG she has to be virgin" issues you mentioned.(It's like a legit issue. I got jealous of a LI having sex with the MC in a flashback, it's really weird and annoying.) And like, they don't HAVE to be virgins(though it's much better), I just really don't want to hear about their past.

I will however never tell a dev what should or should not be in their game, but labels and warnings truly help.

Happy to gear HHR will be more snowflake-friendly, I will trying it out.

A safe precaution in these types of games is to probably just have an option for the MC to give or not give the harem permissions to fool around with each other for those whose egos are bruised by in-harem girl x girl. I can't possibly understand not wanting to see it but it is what it is.

As far as stealing away a wife from an abusive husband goes, sure it's technically ntr but Netori is not the type to cause the player emotional damage and if people are really offended by that I don't know what to say. I don't think you did anything wrong

Nothing special, but if I didn't post a changelog, people would still wonder what's in it ^^'

• Fixed a possible inconsistency in Emilia's Day 1 dialogue.
• On newly started games, the game now ends at night of Day 1 instead of morning of Day 2, for smoother transition into version 0.2 later.
• Removed small Kait dialogue segment related to content we decided to not move forward with.

• Upgraded Ren'Py version to 8.3.4.

HHR 0.2.1 changelog:

• + ~7500 words
• lots of additional code
• 1 new longer main story event
• 4 new smaller events (Myra, Rina & Koko, Medea, Iris)
• a bunch of new sandbox dialogues and options
• proper sandbox locations (day 1 was kinda "fake" sandbox)

What you did is polycule type shit with some NTRish content. (It's NTR as far as any harem enjoyer is concerned)

If you took two seconds to look into the demographic a little, or just google the terms definition... you'd know that you are wrong very quickly, and that anything with another dude or sharing (yes that includes lesbian) is deemed NTR by harem enjoyers... those that don't, aren't purely into harem.

I had a rant... but imma be kind.

Issue is you didn't just disregard the religious context, you disregarded the full context, it's always about the one same man, it isn't they dream of gangbangs, or are whores, or engage in lesbian orgies, it's simply multiple women sharing one man. The End.

TM certainly does not fit that definition. Because you added onto it, which changed it. If a definition is "Red background is Red" then I painted some yellow here, and blue there, I can't still call it a red background, because now it's multicolored.

It wouldn't have taken longer than 10min to search a little deeper to know the full meaning. You'd even be able to find that polygyny is the word that goes with harem and not polygamy in that time. (gamy isn't gender specific nor is it to one specific person).

Biggest issue right now though, is that you come across as making excuses, and seems like you skirt around the issue. BUT that could just be me adding context that isn't there given the perception I am reading your comments with... hence i rewrote this to not be a rant.
