You can comment away these poses in game's files just fine. I don't have a [working on Linux] game copy at hand currently - but I remember that with some text editor like Notepad++ you can quickly find out all spanking mentions, find out which specific parameters are responsible for specific animation usage and remove/replace these.
This game have incredibly reasonable entities parameters configuration.
Do note that you can also put these edits into a separate folder to use as game modification - however, the game becomes somewhat unstable if you replace things rather than add new stuff.

Option B: do not get caught, d'oh. You decide which pose to use if you're on top.

Okay but I don't know what file to look into that's part of the vanilla portion of the game, disabling the animation would be the best option if possible that way said animation is not removed/deleted from the game which, like you said can cause instability.

I could not find why this game was abandoned. I liked playing it back in the day. Did the creator ever say why they gave up on it ?

Dev's blogpost said it's 90% finished but there were issues where they tried to fix for months but gave up afterwards.

It's not so much textures, but the whole model of an object gets warped. This can happen for a number of reasons, most commonly due to the game engine getting confused by a mismatch between model's vertex groups and its' indices infuence (I presume). I had a similar problem on my old (AMD RX580) GPU, CPU and OS (Windows 7) where some of the objects were warped with each face of the model stretching towards origin point (I presume, again). Not sure what exactly caused it and made it go away, eventually, so you're on your own here. If I had to guess, I'd try launching the game with a different GPU or OS to potentially fix this issue.

Whatever mod you've downloaded, you have to fix breast/butt/whatever glitched out sizes so these won't exceed 1 (one).
These mods were made for older version of the game, which was more liberal in terms of body part sizes.

--ui-disable-partial-swap
and/or
--disable-gpu-driver-bug-workarounds
command line options help?
Not sure if both are available in Chromium used to bundle this game though.

Probably needs to update video card driver or maybe get a new video card (I am guessing you are on integrated graphics card)

Short answer: Javascript.

1) Javascript, being an untyped language, makes refactoring exceedingly difficult, meaning modifying existing code is very error prone and extremely time consuming. Thus fixing problems and expanding existing features became harder and harder. (And dont @ me with Typescript, it wasn't really a thing when I started Heroine Rumble)

2) Performance relies very heavily on JIT, which is very unpredictable. Adding or removing a "random" piece of code can have adverse ramifications else where.

3) The famous "(396/398) meshes/bodyMesh bug..." Despite what it says, I believe this is a out-of-memory issue (or related to it). I spent a lot of time trying to address this but 1) made it difficult. Plus I was never able to replicate it on my PCs...

4) Originally I picked Javascript (for Heroine Rumble) because I thought there might be some advantage of having it being browser-playable. Then I learned that it really doesn't work well once the game gets above a certain file size. So that gets thrown outta window too.

5) Me being a dum dum for picking Javascript in the first place. But to be fair... I wasn't expecting to continue after Heroine Rumble...

Anyways just want to let you guys know that "HRT2" development is under way. Very early of course, probably gonna be a year before it gets "decent."
