Does anyone else find the customization in this a bit overwhelming? Like I get some people want to go into detail but there is so much with the color wheel and everything IDK where to begin. could a more basic customization be available so people don't get overwhelmed?

Does anyone else find the customization in this a bit overwhelming? Like I get some people want to go into detail but there is so much with the color wheel and everything IDK where to begin. could a more basic customization be available so people don't get overwhelmed?
not really, on my end I think the clothing option is pretty limited, but at the same time I played around with games like koikatsu (the community repack included) so anything in comparaison is gonna feel a little small.

In the future such games like
Heroine Rumble
would be an options to the games like koikatsu.

So this guy 'finished' the first Heroine Rumble (Hardly qualifies as such), moves on to Heroine Rescue Team, abandons it cause of spaghetti code, moves on to CATC, and now he has apparently abandoned that to make HR2 which looks to have much of the same spaghetti code?

Wat.

This kind of games are never finished. Just have a look at Wildlive, Legend of Krystal...
And i do not care as long as i have fun with game. And with HR, HRT and now HR2 i have a lot of fun!

Lastly, I don't think there's anything in the world rn that could make me respect a dev who has a habit of abandoning their title halfway through development.

What kind of game i mean? All the games you find on this site. All the games were a developer makes money with developing a sex game. And yes, abanding a game is a known practice. Do i would like if a game has a "proper end"? Yes, but as long as i have fun with the game it is OK for me. ... maybe because i am a modder and being able to make mods for a game is more important for me (Enlit is one of the very few developer that activily supports modding!).

To say that HR and HRT are ""halfway through development" is not correct and not fair (and i think you know that).

Giving the game an honest try, I can't tell if my memory is failing me or not, but I don't recall the obscene amount of chain grabs being present in the first iteration.

So far, my experience with Skilled AI has been: Getting staggered by a parry even though my parries don't stagger -> AI juggles me a bit then grabs me cause I can't dash out in time -> Juggles me again after the grapple cause I still can't move for whatever reason -> Grab again -> 0 HP knockdown so I get grabbed again -> Have about 30% HP left within a minute of the fight starting.

Now, I played the first game, but I never felt like it had a 'recipe' like this where it's basically Tekken on steroids and with none of the responsive controls.

I wouldn't say HR 1 is "not finished" as it has a story mode, some customisation, a free battle mode and a brawler mode. With HRT you have more of an argument but it feels filling. CATC is the only one that I would say is not finished.

Heroine Rumble 2 v0.131 - respec potion, new grab and bug fixes
2 days ago

New patch that adds purchasable elixir that resets your character level, added 1 new fm grab, and bunch of bugfixes.
Changelog:
  • Fixed AI joining an existing grab wouldn't select a grab to use
  • Fixed AI in existing selecting grabs for the other attack when that other attacker joins (aka when player tries to grab an enemy that's already grabbed, the grabbed attacker picks grab instead of player)
  • Fixed another bug causing possible sliding around around when grabbing
  • Using ability that reduces target HP to 0 and grabs it now causes the target to start KO recovery
  • Its now possible to un-select abilities by dragging the icon outside of it's initial box
  • Fixed issue where the list of grab moves for the opponents no longer appears when you click the magnifying glass.
  • Fixed can't export Grabs anymore
  • Added "Elixir of Rebirth" that resets level to 1, purchasable in shop
  • Shop stock now resets once every 5 turns
  • Added new "fm_lying_bj" grab
  • Added a "Load" button
  • Grab _invincible flag (set by Signature grab) is now reset when target ends in a device by itself
  • Updated item icon behavior: left mouse button down then move mouse = drag behavior; left mouse button down then button up without moving mouse = open item context menu behavior;
  • Removed "corruption_tree" from random units so "ability_pp_growth" is no longer a level up option. There will be other means to acquire "ability_pp_growth" in the future
Modding:
  • Fixed an issue with .grabFilter.preferredTypes not working properly
  • Fixed an issue with GrabEffect .autoPickGrab can cause AI grabs to softlock if no valid grabs are found

I suppose, I think I just liked how smooth the previous installment played I could do some pretty neat micro in it especially against the highest difficulty.
Went from me playing a porn game to me low-key try harding lmao which if you think of it is a sign of a good game.

Hey I just noticed, is it even possible to select threesome actions and control them in-game? I noticed that every time I joined in an AI that is in a H-scene with the opponent the three-way action is randomised and some animations I selected in the H-settings I can't even activate in-game. Unless its not fully implemented yet?

Anyone know how to reset the grab camera? Mine keeps zooming in on some moves
The game stores your previous relative camera location. So while in a grab if you re-orient the camera and hold it there for a bit that location will be saved for future uses.

I know what you mean, the AI is happy to grab you as soon as you get up and they are so fast. They pretty much all have the ability to dodge a grapple automatically with i-frames. You can't do that, so even if you get knocked down for half a second, you can lose a lot of health very quickly.
You can dash while downed to avoid grabs just like the AI.

I find that over half the time, the partner does not make any attempt to break you out of a grapple.

  • AI should interrupt allied under grabs more much eagerly

This is true. I am aware that tying up is OP. There will be a cost associated with using typing-up grabs and it wouldn't be freely spammable in the future.

wouldnt mind being able to customize an intro to the ring, yknow like music and moves and stuff, might be a bit of a change from the norm.
