The first time I played this game, I was in my first year of Uni. I'm about to graduate, and this dude still hasn't released a proper update? LOL

Man, just leave it be; people have been doing 4 years of flame about it because the game was nice and the wants more, that's aboutit; plus the random flamers envious of how much he is earning.
Don't get me wrong, maybe the dev is a scammer or is truly working on the project; but the wisest thing to do in this case:
1: Are you a Patreon? Are you sure you wanna keep investing?
2: You are not a Patreon? Then literally forget about the game, because flames bring out just flame, and if the game is gonna miraculously come out someday, you are still gonna play it because the first iteration of it was good.
It is the very flame that keeps this thread alive, or the "interest" in this game, too.
Just forget about it, if something is ever gonna comes out of it enjoy it when and if it will ever come. There are plenty of good games around to play

How dare people point out in the game's own thread that the dev for said game is a scammer lol. The discussion police suddenly decided that's not worth talking about for some reason.
Maybe you should close this thread then? Cuz if not, people are allowed to say whatever they want. Including pointing out Komi's insane monthly gains relative to where he lives while scamming his patrons.

I would vote to close the Thread, but then I wouldn't get a notification one day that the game is alive (and I don't give a damn whether you think it will ever come back to life. I'm not paying this guy anyway).
Most people follow this Thread hoping to get some good news here someday, but instead they get several pings a day about arguing whether or not this guy is a scammer. Neither of them will convince each other in this case, so the discussion is simply pointless.
You know, I don't think I've ever seen a game recover once its thread devolves into whatever you want to use to describe this.

Hey, man. I just remembered this game and how I played it way back and was just legitimately shocked that almost no content has been released since then, considering all his promises on Patreon. Didn't mean to strike a chord or anything lol

I really liked the game when it came out, but I don't think this will ever get an update. The last update was like 2 years ago and it was a christmas update released close to the summer lol.

You're right, that was me being overly charitable. In reality, its been well over four entire years since update 1.3 was first getting teased. At some point, obviously, that was scrapped and things got out hand. There was at least some form of tangible content with 1.2.2, but again, that was two years ago. Bugfixes are not content, and the patreon has been fallow since late October.
Its now the beginning of May, the next year. Thats not four months (which is even still fucking egregious, you could easily get nearly 70-100 hours of quality work done in that time with my formula), thats six. And much like bugfixes, a devlog, is not content.
Next I'll be hearing there's concepts of a plan to make an idea for a notion. Very useful, definitely placating.

I don't mean to be rude, but the summary/description of the game you linked is riddled with errors.
It's one of the first things people check and you are losing out on potential patreons
