So after 5 years of bluntly lying and scamming people of their money with "The update is coming 100000% next month & month's or year. Banning anyone who had an complaint about the updates who was either paying you or not."

You pray to god that you stay on itch and don't get purged, You pray to god that you can still scam people and not do a single thing for years.

Does the though of coming back here and actually working on the game worry you that much, does the though of you losing power to silencing people worry you that much..

I am against's censorship but you are the last person to be praying to god after what you have done, and you have come back here just to insult the site and the people here who had promoted you in many ways.

His patreon gets $3778 a month not a year. Theres no excuse for no updates in 2 years. I dont even know how its possible to be this lazy while putting in the effort to pretend you are doing something. He actually said he doesnt want to update patreon because he doesnt want people to think an update is coming, while still pretending hes working on an update. What a pos. If he isnt surrounded by cocaine and hookers it doesnt even make sense how little he cares about releasing content with so many pledges. Its borderline psychopathy.

Theres no excuse for no updates in 2 years.

There hasn't been an actual update in 4 years. The update that the dev keeps promising to release started development in 2021, then after 2 years people started to complain and the dev promised to release the complete Chapter 1 by the end of 2022. Then the dev said he will first release the Christmas Special for Christmas and after that he would release the actual update. He released the Christmas Special in May 2023 and hasn't released anything after that. So in reality the update he keeps promising has been 'worked on' for 4 years now.

Why the fuck do people keep paying him? Did they forget they have subscriptions out and it just keeps getting paid out? Patreon really should start cutting off any projects that get no updates on the Patreon page automatically so people don't get screwed.

You're grasping at straws here. What you shared is hardly a metric worth defending, given the lack of updates. A software dev could write in a single line and excuse himself saying "progress is being made," but if he doesn't deliver on time there are consequences.

Now, I'm not saying Komisari is writing a single line per month or something like that. That was just to illustrate my point. What I'm saying is that it's been years with no continuation to the story. So, even if "progress is being made," it clearly isn't being made at a pace anyone with some common sense would find acceptable. Hell, I've seen devs who can only work on their games on whatever spare time they have, and they manage to deliver updates every 2 or 3 months at most. In my opinion, any of this dev's supporters are entitled to criticize him. Especially the people who supported him financially. They're right to feel cheated.

I have no reason to defend it - I am not a paying Patreon player. Just a fan since its inception. I have been anticipating this games update same as anyone else. I understand your frustration - I have shared in it.

I took a moment to look into it before my last comment and was presently surprised there was activity in the discord and the Trello Board. That's all.

I quit paying attention to this game, about a year ago. I would go back to the discord once a year or so to see if there had been any kind of update. I checked the Discord today, and nothing would come up whenever I clicked on the server. I figured, maybe it's down, so I came here to check for an update. Imagine my "surprise" to see Komi still here, 4 years later, arguing with people about how his is working sooooooo hard on the game, he promises. It's no wonder he hasn't released anything in more than 4 years, he's too busy arguing, and promising things on Patreon, Discord, Itch, and here. I must've been kicked from the discord, the last time I questioned things on the server, and just didn't notice, lol.

Imagine just sitting on this for nearly 2 years of no updates.
That's nearly 90-100 THOUSAND dollars. He could probably milk it for more.
Statistically there are people that have DIED waiting for updates on this and I wonder how many of his patrons have passed and the automatic system just keeps funneling money.

And that update was just a holiday event no one asked for, thrown together in a few months, instead of what was promised. Almost 5 years of no update to the main game. October 30 2020 is when v.12 came out. 5 years soon. Any solo dev can make an entire high quality indie game from scratch in less time if they are actually working, much less a silly (albeit decent) porn game with no original art (koikatsu scenes) and no real coding needed (renpy) that is a fraction of the effort needed of quality indie games. Crazy.

You're leaving out the best part about the holiday event : it was a Christmas update meant to come out for Christmas because developpment for the main story was taking too long, except it came out months after like a month before summer or something like that and the event itself is a weird meta story about the MC cooking a "present" for his LIs for too long to the point that he misses Christmas by many months lol, you can't make that up
