Ah. When you extracted the game did it say "file path too long" for one of the files.
Use 7zip to extract it not the normal windows extract tool. I had this issue too but I've seen it happen on a previous game I played and the 7zip method worked and fixed it for me.

Update: yea just dont skip through it and it doesnt bug the game and the dialogue continues. IF this happens to anyone else.

This is not the "completed" version btw. Quoting the dev: "Steam’s policies have changed a lot in recent months, and one such change includes adult titles losing the ability to release as Early Access (which was our original plan).
