Episode Two - Dev Update #5

Hello everyone!
We’ve got some great news. After countless hours of work, the racing scene is finally done. This is easily the most ambitious scene we’ve worked on so far, and it gives you a better glimpse of the atmosphere we aim to create for the game. It clocks in at around 3+ minutes of fully animated racing action with some dialogue in between, additionally, there's gonna be timed choices for you to choose that determine the outcome of the race. But if that feels like too much pressure, you can disable the timer for the choices in the settings.
With this part finally wrapped up, we’re looking forward to picking up the pace again and getting back to the regular scenes. On my end, I’ve started working on all the sound effects and whatnot for the racing sequence, along with a new track to fully tie it together.
I know some of you have been asking why the update is taking so long, so I want to mention again that, unfortunately, we can’t commit to this project full-time just yet. We’re putting in as much time as we can, but we also have to balance it with life responsibilities to sustain ourselves. Everything we earn from Patreon goes right back into the game, so we really appreciate your patience as we work on delivering something we can all enjoy.

Episode Two - Dev Update #6

Hello!
It’s been quite a bit since our last update, but rest assured, we’ve been hard at work. Progress has greatly picked up since we finished the racing scene, and now we’re focused on pushing out the remainder of the scenes as quickly as possible, while still maintaining the consistency in quality.
Currently, we’re working on the environment for a key location in the story that will recur throughout the game. While environments take a lot of time since we create almost everything custom ourselves, it’s a necessary effort as future scenes set in these locations will already have everything set up.
This scene in particular will introduce a new character, as you've probably seen in the preview image. Of course, we don’t want to spoil anything just yet so we’ll save all the details for when we’re closer to release.
Speaking of release, with the pace we’re going at right now, we do have a rough idea for a release date set in mind. However, we don’t want to jinx ourselves like we always do. That said, it’s looking unlikely that we’ll make it by Q4, but it’s definitely not too far off.
This episode is taking a lot of time, as it will be our biggest update so far with 29 scenes (for context, Episode 0 and 1 combined have 27 scenes). We’re wondering if, in the future, it would be better to split up these episodes into smaller halves or if people prefer longer updates, even if it means a longer wait.
Regardless, the episode after this one (Episode 3) will hopefully take less time to complete, as most of the time and work for this episode went into the racing scene, which was our first big cinematic scene.

Looking forward to EP2, one thing I am curious about is if you guys have plans of implimenting different racing styles. Like the choices you make during the racing scenes affect how the other drivers percieve you, sorta like the Ally vs Rival system in the early EA Nascar games. It doesn't have to be this massive story impacting choice, just a couple lines from other drivers commenting on how you drive. Gentleman Driver vs Aggressive Driver type of comments.

Then again I have no clue how you would implement such a thing, I just thought it would be kinda neat

Episode Two - Dev Update #7

Hey guys!
I hope you're all doing well. It's wild to think we're already so close to 2025. Time has been going way too fast lately. Speaking of which, I wanted to take a moment to update you on the progress we've been making.
We’ve been moving at a very steady and comfortable pace, having managed to knock out 6 scenes in just a little over 2 weeks, and we’re hoping to keep this up for the remainder of the scenes. We’re now around 70% through with this update. The NSFW ones might take a bit more time, though, as we’re aiming to improve on what we did in the previous episode.
Now that we’re finally past the introductory phase that Episodes 0 and 1 served as, in this episode you’ll start to see relationships progress, with some characters opening up and connections deepening as the story unfolds. While the progression will vary from character to character, I’m sure it’ll be interesting to see how things develop differently for each of them.
Aside from that, there’s not much else to say right now, as we don’t want to spoil too much storywise.
With the holidays nearing, we also wanted to take a moment to thank you for your support and wish you a very happy holiday season.

Episode Two Release Dates

Hello, hello!
Hope you’re all doing great as always.
As you’ve seen from the title, we’ve finally got the release dates locked in. That said, the episode still isn’t fully finished yet. We’re currently working on the remaining lewd scenes, but other than that, it’s mostly just post work and polishing to get everything ready. We’ll be posting a final progress report on the Discord, not like it really matters at this point, though.
It’s been a long road getting to this point, these past few months have been a real challenge. But we pushed as much as possible to make this release happen at these dates and not any later.

On the bright side, we’ve also definitely felt that these challenges have helped us improve, leading us to find new ways to optimize our workflow, work more efficiently as a team, and all in all be more prepared for future episodes. At the end of the day, this is all part of the process, and we’re 100% glad we did go through it.

Speaking of which, we’re very grateful for the few of you who’ve stuck with us since the start, and even those who’ve just tuned in from time to time or interacted here and on Discord. Just the fact that someone out there enjoys our work is incredibly motivating for us.

We'll be showcasing some of the changes and new additions in the coming weeks, so feel free to look forward to that.
But yeah, other than that, I don't think there's much else to say except "finally".
