It's really hard to describe to people, that live far from real existential danger, that it's hard to focus on fun stuff like adult game development or on fun stuff at all, it's hard to relax or "let it go". Especially when most of your day is a hard labor. I've told on my Patreon page that things is hard for me right now, and releases of my current project has no estimate dates, so if they unwilling to support me, knowing this situation and circumstances - I will understand if they will cancel their membership. I'm have no hard feelings about it.

I have told many times, that once this war will be over, and if I'll be alive by that day - I'll continue to work on this project because I love this project. Patreon page was opened only to get more money to pay for hired artists and erotic writer. I didn't get a single penny into my pocket during work on this project, it was only expenses.

If someone here wants to believe that I'm some kind of another scam dev, that gaining a lot of income, or believe that I've abandon this project because of laziness, or by some other untold reason - they are welcome to believe in what they want, I can't change beliefs.

Man, I'd unwatch the thread or something. People are going to be stupid regardless of how much you dumb it down for them.

I was not trying to talk down the dev. I was stating facts for someone who apparently just discovered the game in an attempt to help them set realistic expectations:
1. The game is in early development even if it's been 5 years.
2. The game has been on hold for about 2 years

I did not want to touch on any of the reasons because butthurt people will jump at the chance, which they did anyway so I am Romanian, the war is on our doorstep, lots of Romanians helped and still do and many Ukrainians are still refugees in Romania. Most of us (the ones with more than 2 brain cells) hate Putin's Russia... well in all honesty there's not much love for any Russia since before WWI. I feel for the dev and all Ukraine and I hope Putin gets a big pineapple up his ass sooner rather than later.

I love the game, the graphics, and the setting, and I can't wait for when stuff gets back into some sort of rhythm.

P.S.: to all of those with them butts hurtin, sorry! Defo not my intent to tango with you.

The very first of your "facts" was that "[t]his game is pretty much dead," which is the statement I and others objected to. That's not only not a fact, it isn't even true. It's as alive as it ever was, just on an involuntary pause.

Yes, that is also a fact. Whatever your opinion is on the matter, you cannot dismiss that the dev paused this in favor of another game before the "orcs" invaded Wonderland. Then pretty much everything got put on hold for understandable reasons. So yes, the game is dead and in the best-case scenario, it will probably be resurrected as a rework/reboot/reshuffle/re-something. Also if memory serves, the dev had issues with the artists which is another nail in said project's coffin.

The Game is dead, long live the Game.

Dear god, you're obsessed with incorrect facts. Fact 1: the last release was 2022-01-27. Fact 2: Russian invaded Ukraine 2022-02-24.

So, according to you the game was paused 1 month before the invasion and another game was started in that month. In reality, that other game was first mentioned on the patreon on 2022-05-05, which simple understanding of dates shows is AFTER the invasion started.

Seriously I have no idea why so many people seem to be unable to look up this kind of information for themselves first before making crazy claims about things that just provably false. You're not the first one to claim some huge development time and extra multi-year long pauses in development.

I guess you use "alternate facts" to support your erroneous conclusions, so I am unsurprised that they are erroneous. Not that you care about the truth, but Peter announced that the High Pressure game (and its Patreon) was paused the day the war started, and announced that HP was paused but not abandoned and that he would start a side game (which became Noble Seed) as something he could work on solo on Apr 18, 2022. In your little world, that may have been before the Russian invasion started, but not in the world the rest of us live in.

I have no idea why you are so belligerently trying to foist off these false "facts" on us, but you are wasting your time:
1. Your "facts" are demonstrably untrue (see the Patreon) and
2. While Tankie tears taste like sugar, you are a boring Tankie.

I don't know why there is such a problem with the pause, there are many games paused for quite stupid reasons but in this case it was a very justifiable reason.
I just hope that the author is well and can continue with his life and work.

Two years of waiting for something to happen with a game is a looooooong time. And it's such a great game too. It's so sad to see this happen.

If you think that's bad, imagine spending those two years under aerial bombardment, with friends, relatives, and countrymen being killed and wounded in the orc invasion, and being helplessly at the mercy of allies who talk big and perform small.

Like the last time, this won't be over until the day that the crazy dictator shoots himself in his bunker. So do everything you can to bring that day closer, and you will be helping bring resumed progress on the game at the same time.

May be a bit of an impatient viewer(or supporter) when the ball is rolling, and the mills start printing.
But as always the human element is one that cant be ignored. Hope youre doing well.
(been checking up on patreon alot, since while i only have interest in this game. i also been looking at the other one, just out of curiosity, but no real drive.)

Keep Safe, even if nothing comes after things cool down. Long as things still ticking, theres a chance.
(i know of another dev i supported from the same region, and they arent at fault or earned anything that occurs in the world. but things happen, while they seemingly have some aid now in the development, things still slow going.)

May things get better, so most of us can get back to enjoying the fantasy and complexity of information in fictional worlds. (than the headache of the real one. Though ours in this side of the world still maintains the facade of civility, i hope it doesnt boil over again.

Love the concept of this story, even if <fill in any blank you desire>

If im able to become silently impatient in the future about this game, it would be a blessing indeed. For now, ill just hope for a good end for the normal people who got pulled into the madness. Not the Best material for the story for sure, having to deal with that first hand i bet, But undeniably Ironic.
