Yeah, the abandoned tag isn't really consistent on this site and it's down to the individual site moderators if it gets applied. Though it having the "on hold" tag is there for a reason, since game developers might need to stop work on a game for any number of reasons, while still planning to return to it later.

Please read last few pages of this thread. In short words - ruzia started full-scale war against my country. I don't have possibility to continue to work on this project during war.

I pray daily for the war to end in a Ukrainian victory as soon as possible but have to confess that, while the resumption of this game would be welcome, that's not even in my top-100 reasons that I hope for the war to won ASAP.

He posts regularly on his patreon (publicly too). In fact the most recent post is literally less than a day old. He's also working on a different game, since the war in Ukraine prevents working with the artist for this game.

A ton of beautiful world decoration rpgm has been made here! And, so far, the story is really interesting, really nice graphics, sexy character. As I always say (even if ppl can't understand it) I usualy play games that offer something else than just "porn/sex", but not just mainstream because usualy because the lack of this last part... This is the kind of game I like. I hope the dev and other artists working with dev will be fine and someday there may be some update, neither too slow neither rushed because it would be wrong to rush such a nice piece of art (sadly, this kind is less popular and sometimes lost for a good reason or another).

Loved the crawling animation with keyboard keys (doesn't work if you use the mouse to point&clic).

I did not try the entire actual game version questlines. I stopped when a npc is waiting outside the inn to give a quest after

And they dropped it all for Noble Seed a game with totally different looks and story so anyone that was a fan of their old stuff you wont find it. Its unity and it looks like HoneySelect games.

As has been stated numerous times, SteamUP did not drop this for Noble Seed. He dropped this because a bunch of Orcs started rampaging across his country, and, as a result, the artist could no longer work on the game. Noble Seed is the dev's attempt to make a game that he can make on his own. It's not feature-rich nor graphically advanced, but it has some fun mechanics and the dev is clearly learning as he goes along.

War absolutely sucks, and the loss of progress on this game is a pimple on a gnat's ass compared to what the dev's country and countrymen are having to endure. Have a bit of empathy. This isn't about us.

- it was in development for 5+ years
- no major updates when it was in development
- now it's on hold since I can't even remember when.

Don't get your hopes up. If you do, you will likely set yourself up for disappointment.

I'm not saying that this game will continue development, but you have a bit of a distorted memory there about it's history. This was covered a while ago, so I'm going to quote in some posts I made with some info, but the TLDR is the game was publicly released first in October 2019, then put on hold February 2022 (what with the developer's country being invaded), which makes the development time since the game was made public about 1.5 years before it was very publicly put on hold.

Which has been talked about plenty on the thread, and the patreon is currently financing a different game which literally just released a new update...

And claiming it was on hiatus long before the war started is also pretty bullshit. Development was slow, true, but the last version was released at the end of January 2022, and Russia invaded February 24th. It seemed to be following the pretty standard trend of a lot of patreon games with the progress having issues, but there were also consistent news updates posted during the entire time (unlike a lot of other patreon developers). This is quite easy to check, even if you don't support a project, since the post title and first line or 2 is visible to anyone.

So, then you just have a really distorted memory of the game's history... The game's patreon and first release was in October 2019 (which is the same time the thread here was made). The release history is a bit of a pain to find (due to the number of news posts they make), but there were versions released throughout 2020 - 2021, with frequent news posts on patreon. We already covered when the last version was released, and if you don't count those and only the initial v0.6, that was at the start of October 2021.

There have continued to be news posts to the supporters on the patreon, which is also easy to check as I said in my last post. So they did tell their patreon supporters what was going on as the situation in Ukraine developed. And like literally every patreon, no one forces you to start or continue support of a project. It's up to the supporters to pay attention to the projects and if they continue to produce to the supporter's satisfaction.

And frankly, very few patreons will actually pause the project even when they stop development. They count on the idea that at least some people forget about the pledge even when nothing is posted.



But yeah, you're right, if you ignore literally all verifiable facts. /s

Get a grip gents the devs country has an orc problem so they're prioritising not blowing up over your jollies.
