how could we be sure? we don't know much about dev's rl and he had habbit of disappearance.
other dev totally fell off the world years ago (after Asia had that big tsunami) and players don't know if he survived or not but no sign of him after that vacation (well before tsunami) so either he's dead or alive but can't work due reason or other.

nope i think. there is only 1 or 2 endings, 1 where you get 1 of office girls to move in to "palace" and get both to move in.
I am also surprised by the alleged news of his death, as I knew him a little better and we often wrote to each other privately about things.
I can't completely rule it out, because you never really know anyone and they can pretend to be anything.
All I can tell you is that based on the personal conversations I had with him, none of this adds up. Neither the place where he lived (which was supposed to be Gaza) nor the circumstances of his immediate environment are correct.
To encourage just a few who believe that he is alive, let me briefly touch on a few things without going into too much detail. Smokeydots is a very intelligent personality who is very extraordinary in the things he does. Just think of Dustin Hoffman in Rainman. In the things he is very good at, he finds other things much more difficult (e.g., interacting with people, social interaction, etc.). However, he pursues a normal challenging career in a large industrial nation. You could say that his work is also his calling, so to speak. He has to work very hard, but he also enjoys it. High Rise Climb has always been his passion project, and he promised me and all his fans that it would be completed. We were always in contact, but there were times when he was so immersed in his work that when I asked, “Hey Smokey,” he didn't get back to me until two years later. Then he sent another update. (That was when it had already been abandoned.
He doesn't mean it maliciously, but at that moment he simply has other priorities and then the thought just pops into his head: “Oh yeah, I still have to finish update 0.95.”
I just wrote this down for all interested users to share my thoughts with you, that I find this post about Gaza very strange because I personally got to know a completely different person.
To clarify again, of course I don't know him completely and don't know if maybe he was playing a role for me, but what I experienced with him fits more with a credible story.
