Believe it or not, this thing is only pulling in about $100 USD a month right now... and if I'm being honest, I'm more than honored for the support but I'm not that good yet. So I have a real job making...well... fucking shit up is hard work.*Knock knock*
How is the work dev? Did you took some days off for your vacation?
Well, I hate to be that guy but...Believe it or not, this thing is only pulling in about $100 USD a month right now... and if I'm being honest, I'm more than honored for the support but I'm not that good yet. So I have a real job making...well... fucking shit up is hard work.
About 75% of the Chapter 2 stuff was classifiable as NTR depending on who you ask.I tried the first release, and the only ntr was a bad ending. How is it now?
Still works. It only changes some key words "Childhood friend" vs "Sister" etc, and it must be installed when the game starts, will not work if applied mid play.I-patch is out of date or is it no longer needed for current version? will download once i find out
But you went ahead and became "that guy." I'm certain you said nothing that the dev doesn't already know. I'm also certain this type of "advice" contributes to dev burnout. You plus 20 other "concernedWell, I hate to be that guy but...
... did you really expect that you can live from the patreon or get a massive financial boost from your first game?
You have not one completed game under your belt.
You have to earn the trust from the patreons, that you are reliable and not throw the towel after the the first couple of updates and patreon income is still low.
Maybe your game is to niche and the target audience is simply to small to generate a huge amount of money.
I totally understand that no one wants to work for free, and there will be no hard feelings when you step on the brake if you notice that the costs are higher than the income. Thats absolutly fine, everyone would do this - and all who say they would do otherwise are lying.
is the patch universal or does it need to be updated each update?New incest patch. I don't know where it came from, or what monster did it. It's not right. It's wrong. >.>
Note that the patch only changes certain nouns. The game play is the same.
I know the guy that made the patch very well... >.> It'll get updated if a change needs to be made, else it'll work with all versions. Keep in mind that it's just like most incest patches, it just swaps around some per-staged nouns.is the patch universal or does it need to be updated each update?
NTR vs no NTR wasn't really on my Radar when I started, trying to tell the story first and deal with my poor design discipline last... derp. Most of the "NTR" material is in the multiple paths in chapter 02. This version does stop RIGHT before a hard turn into some shit with Ayre, Her mother, the Captain, and Ayre's father sitting in the corner... next time. ^^As someone who likes ntr, how much ntr content is there in game now?
Nothing I'm ashamed for it.But you went ahead and became "that guy."
Well, at least from the post that I have quoted, was this not really visible.I'm certain you said nothing that the dev doesn't already know.
That's is a dev problem, no dick is as hard as the business life. If I decide to try to take a step into the direction of possible self employment, I have to get a broad back, a think furr and a strong mind, otherwise you will just fail. That's business.I'm also certain this type of "advice" contributes to dev burnout.
I'm not concerned - not in the farthest way, and to be honest, I could not even care less. I'm more shocked about the naivety many devs have, to imagine that all is running smoothly from the first day straight to the top, and they will become - income wise - the next Dr.Pink Cake. I'm not sure if this is fitting for this dev here, but many newcomers think so.You plus 20 other "concernedmembers" are pretty much saying the same thing.
You missed my point, although I'm not surprised.Nothing I'm ashamed for it.

You and I have both spend enough time here to see many devs fail and their games get abandoned for ...
... reasons.
That's a natural thing bound to happen in business life. I will just call it natural selection.
If you have the right product and hit the audience, you will succeed. Otherwise? Well...
