I mean... I understand your reaction, that scene was a classic Netorare setup, explicitly there to cause jealousy which IS the main goal of a NTR.

But, given it's conclusion (death ≠ no sex), it couldn't be called a proper NTR, since Netorare literally means "taken away by sleeping with" and even though that scene feels a little bit "forced" to say the least, there was no sex .
