I don't understand why the dev removed the nude of Emma, it was a good scene and the game needs some titillation.
I hope Hillside doesn't turn into Prude Simulator 2.0. Let's see how the next updates evolve.
After reading through the last pages now the game has two groups of fans :
> I want to protect Emma and my slow burn vanilla romance with the ladies
> I want to fuck her and her mom too
Why not both? Give us the option to be a White Knight and a Black one.

Thanks for clearing that up. Usually, I'd be glad about my favorite female character in a game being made romanceable, but thanks to your convincing story telling, it's actually not the usual relief. You've made all the characters so real. Emma is so endearingly shy and naive. Stupid over the top fantasy stories make it easier to accept older characters romancing naive characters like Emma. Believable character portrayals like yours break the bubble of over the top fantasy that normally enables all the harem and corruption games narratives. Well, you've kept it classy so far. I trust that will continue. Though I wonder how romancing Emma can be made classy?

There's really at least 1001 games on this site which are really, pretty much, just 3D porn scenes with a story tacked on. I'm sure you can find nude pics of a similar sort if you look. At least this Dev is attempting at some sort of realism and he/she should be commended for that. It's a visual story and the story and characters have to be involving.

There are 1001 games on this site which are really pretty much 2 years of slow burn with a tit here and there.
I'm sure you can find non sexual soap operas if you look for it.
The dev is already revamping his story because some people don't like how it was and that's never a good sign imo.
I don't expect a fuckfest from this VN, don't get me wrong, but it looks like some people want a bodyguard/father figure simulator.
Can somebody tell me why the bath scene was "too soon"? Emma screamed and the mc rushed to help her, she was nude in the bath. What's wrong with that?

She's a kitten that blushes and panics whenever her mom talks about boys. The Dev removed the nude (better: he postponed it) because the only things that could have happened if the MC saw her naked in the bathroom - remember: Charlotte forbade him entering the bathrooms, the girls' bedrooms and the yoga room - would have been:
1. Emma panicking
2. Charlotte discovering it and raging
3. MC thrown out and fired
Agreed. That's what was so good about Our Fate (RIP), it gave player a choice. Maybe most of the content was the same so far, but fantasy part of it was different on each path, and that's important. That's what good about games, or at least some of them.
Only having an option to be a 'good guy' would make this game worse in my opinion. Just choosing who to romance would be meh.

Keep in mind that she was scared by a bigger threat (the spider), even she understands the context of the situation in game, it wasn't the usual creep stuff we see in some games. The MC was trying to to do his work and help her.
I have said it before, she's way too naive and innocent for a girl of her age living in Ho-Hillside.
If anything the dev should work in making her a bit more mature and aware not more childish.
I prefer to play the good guy most times but if the game has more options it would be better for everyone I think.

1. she never met her father
2. she always lived in an all-female household without any male presence whatsoever
3. her mom and her older sister overprotected her
4. even though the game tells she's 18, it's crystal clear to me that she's not. She's 15-16, but because of Patreon you can't depict a minor having sex
5. she's starting being conscious of her body and being attracted to the opposite sex, but she has no idea how boys behave and how they (don't) think. We guys know that when we were boys we always thought about sex and how to get into girls' pants, but girls her age haven't realized it yet.
6. she has no female friends her age to talk to (story's biggest flaw, in my opinion)

That's the other way around, girls mature faster than boys.
She still goes to high school, has internet and so on.
Apologies if someone else posted the same thing(I looked through the last five pages of the thread), but I really want the 'A-list celeb/would-be rapist' to get beaten to within an inch of his life by the mc.
Hopefully, that happens at some point in the story.

While nevermore is wrong in general, I will say, being sheltered and naive when it comes to sexual matters in no way makes someone "14 mentally". There are a lot of people who grow up in church environments who get married with relatively little knowledge of relationships and have pretty stable relationships(in fact, statistically they have the most stable and happy marriages).
That said, considering her naivety on these matters should and would prevent her from responding well to any sort of strong/physical advances till she is more comfortable with the person. So I agree that the relationship with her should be handled slower(ish). But I do find the idea that someone sexually naive is "14 mentally" to be... an odd take.

I was actually one of the people who complained about the Emma scene, but I wasn't advocating throwing out the nude, I actually said that he should add in a "Knock first" or "Bust in" choice. If you knock she puts a towel on and answers, if you bust in she's nude and you lose points with her.
It's the way she acts honestly. She re-watches a movie over and over and crushes on the boy in it. Even if he didn't go to her school she'd still be doing it. That's part of the problem right there. Not a lot of 18 year old's are still in the "cut dreamy pictures of guys out of magazines" stage. That's more of preteen or younger adolescent behavior. She's still very dependent on her mom, very uncomfortable around new people, still lets that basic bullying get to her like a younger kid would. I would say she's been coddled a lot by her family, especially her sister most likely. Her room also shows her immaturity level. It's the design of a room that is meant for a much younger girl. Comparing it to Suzi's room you can see the difference in their mental maturity.

But her crush goes to her school, that is a bit different and not that particularly odd even without that. Older women have crushes on actors(remember twilight?). As for her room, uh...that isnt that odd at all for college age girls, I dunno who you hung around in college but there were a lot of girls I hung out with who still enjoyed that really girly dynamic all through college. Hell I have a co-worker who is still kinda like that and she is in her late 20's.
