Why censor if you will give the code out for free?

If you wish to add a paywall, i'd say add it to stuff like "Advanced" features, such as more positions during sex, more customisation. Like, lets say the free version's women have breast range of B-C-D, then give Patreon contributers a larger range of breast sizes like A-B-C-D-E-F-G.

That way, people can test out the basic version, and if they wish to have a more "fetishised" playthrough, they'll have to fork out some money.

Of course, you cant make everyone happy, but really, hiding sexual content in a game all about the sex behind a paywall will simply make people think you're desperate, greedy or an asshole. Which in turn they will see as a reason to reverse engineer your game, remove it and then release it as a modded version. Look around on the site, plenty of games have had that happen to them.

This could lead to you starting to think about how to combat people reverse engineering your game, rather than letting you focus on the fun parts of developing it.

Theres a another dev that went hardcore in on trying to add DRM to his game.. So far, every version hes put out has been cracked.

The code I gave is for previous version, that is our current plan instead of delaying public builds they are released at the same time, just with some locked features. For sure you can argue that it's not the best way of handling this, but I've seen a lot of other projects that hide their games behind even a 10$ paywall and their public build is 1 year old. In our case if you want to get a full experience you mainly have to wait 1 month or so for codes to be shared, but you still have the ability to test the latest one for free as well just with few downsides.

Your business plan seems reasonable as well. We will have to give it another thought about that, since our current plan is a bit confusing and that's understandable. We really don't want to look like greedy assholes nor desperate. We already spent half a year working on this without getting anything in return, but that's totally fine. We enjoy what we do and will continue doing that despite any challenges along the way.

Once again really appreciate your input and will give it a long thought on how we can improve our public image regarding the mentioned matter. If you have any more suggestions I would like to hear them as well. We want to prove ourselves and everyone else that we can be better than this and will do so not by simply giving empty promises but with our actions. Thank you again and stay tuned for more updates. Having a clear plan in place that lets people understand whats going on easily will help you in the long run, I've seen games with horrible paywalls, and I've held off ever playing them, I've even heard some of them have reasonable releases now, without paywalls that make you feel like a chump for trying the game, however I've already formed the opinion that I dont want to play their game, they'd have to do something incredible to change my mind at this point.

I understand that its not a fair way of looking at the devs, but my point is that even after they change their paywalls, I still have a negative image of them, and its not easy to shake off once its in place.

I honestly hope you guys do a good job. I've held off playing the game for a while due to lack of content, but I am looking forward to trying it in the future.

I'd suggest maybe looking at the DerelictHelmsman's Patreon (Breeders of Nephylim or something like that).

Its basically just a 3D version of Breeding Season, but I personally feel hes done a good job with the whole patreon paywall thing. I used to support him (Back when I still had more disposable income) with 10 bucks a month or so.

I've been watching this project for a while without trying it, I remember when it was first posted here. Thing is, (I'm sure I'm not the only one), I'm iffy about supporting projects that might dead end before it's finished, or at least satisfactory to play. I'm not saying this game will ever dead end, but a large majority of adult games similar to this one don't ever quite finish what they started. I'm glad you guys are willing to continue working despite the lack of support, it may pay off in a future version. But right now after seeing the demo, I'm not interested. I will keep watching though, this project is a big one, and potentially a great one. Just needs a lot of refining. Good luck.

This is posted by the dev, you probably won't get any new codes here. The only codes you can get are for the previous builds, which if you can read, is shared in a post above.

We received a lot of feedback and decided to remove censorship for upcoming build and future builds, so patreon codes will provide other functionality. You will be able to play our build at the same time as our patrons just they will have a bit more juicy stuff to experiment with.
