I fixed the links. It's odd because it should have worked because I used the direct link which bypasses that. I just made it public. *Shrug*
well that's the problem, the direct link redirects you to the folder it's located in. I'm guessing it exists so that when a user clicks a random link on some website, if it links to a file hosted on Gofile, it won't just automatically download the file. It's probably just a safety feature, so that the user will know what the file is, and let them choose if they want to download it. (It's probably also just a hotlinking bypasser, similar to what Pixeldrain does, so that they can show you ads before you download the file, but one could hope)
Next time, you should just use the "Copy link" button directly on the website, so that way people can actually access the file next time lol
