I'm having a problem with getting the scene with Jessica and Heather at the beach together.
I've already read the pdf guide, and I know there's randomness to it, but the thing is, I've tried it about 20+ times now, in different days, and I still havent managed to get Jessica to show up.

The guide says Jessica's appearance is random, but what are the odds of that happening? Are we talking a 10% chance or something?
Because its ridiculous.

P.S. Yes I did everything right, according to the guide.
Try when both are at the beach and take Heather for a walk, they must wear their sexy bikini.

Currently you cannot return to the lab after you have received treatment for your ankle injury. However, checking the 'Development News' posted regularly on the developer's Patreon Page and here within this thread, you'll see that the next release has some new content that might take place in the lab. We can only be patient and wait and see.

Is there a command to get the doctor scenes for 48 and beyond hour cum backup relief for Desire and Faye? I got Alice's to work and was intercepted by Deliza for the other two. I've seen the scene for everyone but that was in other games that are since deleted. I just want the scenes to be marked done. If not, grind until you shine.

To some degree, yes.

Mostly it has expanded (or extended) through adding to itself.
It still revolves around the resort loop (with its presentation. mechanics and design)

That element faces constraints, ex.
  • The more you add the less possible change to it becomes, the cost of change rises over time (maintenance too)
  • It faces diminishing returns, even huge additions eventually gets swallowed up in the existing (drop in an ocean effect)
  • Progress of Time, girls gets done, things gets old, tech too, and of course, creators want to experience new things too
  • The loop itself is based on the old design and is therefore hyper expensive in its content cost.
Of these only the latter is truly solvable (impose a different future content design) and that is already happening.
But ultimately the other limitations will assert themselves regarding which change and choice is possible.

I find this both interesting and insightful, DuckSwim. I think there are lots of possibilities beyond the current status quo (which itself is pretty remarkable, IMO). Based on what Ducky has said and my own thoughts about this (I've thought a lot about HI's potential development going forward), the following are some possibilities that I find particularly intriguing and also likely feasible:
The Guest-Babes (HI sandbox limited overlays) - this scenario would play out as the MC being summoned to Joy's office and told that "a guest" (someone from HQ, a friend/associate of Joy, etc.) is coming to the island for a limited stay (3-5 days) and she would like you to make sure her guest has a good time while on the island, and by the way, could you <insert related mini-quest here>. This would involve the MC making appointments with the guest at certain locations at certain parts of the day, making optimal choices, and completing certain related tasks in order to unlock/see all of the guest's content, then the guest would leave. This would be more linear/VN than the general HI sandbox, but when the MC was not interacting with the guest, he would be able to do normal HI sandbox things, like in between the parts of the Amy quest or the new Delizia or Sara quests. This would be a way to use the existing HI sandbox as a foundation and add new girls and content without all of the HI sandbox overhead for each of the new girl "guests".​
The Yacht (a second sandbox) - Miriam introduced us to "the yacht" during a walk on the beach (and some subsequent pictures), and it seems a scenario could be created where, after a certain number of days and/or certain achievements have been completed, Joy tells the MC that he is being granted the privilege of going to the yacht for an extended stay. This would then become a new and different sandbox from the island, with the different areas of the yacht (aft main deck, fore main deck, pool, bridge, galley, infirmary, MC's stateroom, girls' staterooms, etc.) becoming the locations in the sandbox. The yacht could have its own set of new girls, and/or "island girls" could come to the yacht (or come and go; the yacht has a helicopter and helipad), and would have its own set of tasks and achievements. It could even sail to a nearby island, which could add locations, tasks, and achievements to the sandbox.​
The Rest of the Island (a different second sandbox, limited overlay, or Lab/ankle-style VN) - As Ducky alluded to, and has been mentioned previously by others (myself included), certainly there is more to the island than just the resort and the airport. This opens up some possibilities such as a town/village, hidden caves/beaches, an unexpected discovery, etc., which would allow the present game to expand or to transition in another direction, consistent with Darkhound's story arc plans.​
It's fun to theorize and speculate (and provide some food for thought), and I'm excited to see how the game development ultimately plays out.

A quick comment on this one because while in some ways this choice seems obvious from a player perspective, it is actually the contrary, it is an example of a nasty trap.

To illustrate,
  • It uses a new girl (creation costs)
  • Who needs to be defined/have a character (creative costs)
  • And ends up creating "resort content" (essentially same-same content, even if she does not engage in a resort role or its loop)
  • Of the most expensive type (Events, Quests, VN)
The combined creation + creative + content costs are out of this world (outside of using cheap blank slate dolls, which is not HI's style) and the approach is rather wasteful too (using new girls for something old already do).

From a creator point of view an existing and defined girl from the ocean available in the resort already will always be a superior choice in a "resort scenario". More so as event content there can used to complete existing tasks/girls and thus complete a part of the game.

The implications of the resort's current size, amount of active girls and types of content is therefore that any added girl, whether she is a temp or not, will want to be outside of the resort (grow the game) and not go resort if she can in any way avoid it (avoid same-same and drowning).

True guests are mostly feasible at the level of Annabelle and Amy at the airport
