No. Only the one time scenes get a gallery replay.
All the scenes that can be re done in game get no gallery replay.

My point of view : why a thousand saves ? Just re do the scene in game.
Myself I use one save and with the help of cheat it is easy.

not really. I like a sandbox game. Playing this, I'm ALWAYS in the companion, setting max/min values to everything.

ok... so how would you reduce the grind to a level that is not the biggest grind fest you have ever seen, EVEN with the companion ? (adding replay for scenes is not a solution as well)

A good step would be to stop declining girl statuses/affection. Having to chat them up everytime is a grind. Imagine doing that without the companion, which is already annoying it itself.
Then, the entire system to trigger scenes. Be there, wear that, have those statuses AND THEN, it still doesn't work. I remember doing the same things for days, just to get a different scene with 1-2 images towards the girl completion.
Wash yourself, eat, getting the same annoying messages everyday, for scenes you did 100 times (just make a galery/reminder page, whatever), don't message me EVERY SINGLE MORNING to invite me to the beach for the 100000th time.

So, stop decreasing girls stats, remove LUST, change the RNG, (take it out completely if I meet the criteria to trigger a scene), add a Memory page That would probably make it less grindy. I could go on for another page, but I guess you got it. I use the companion every 1-2 days, to reset my stats/increase girl stats, but the game is not grindy :))

I agree with you on what I would call the RANDOM success for getting an appointment/event/scene.
Those can be a grind. But removing it would make things too easy, would it not?
Reduce girl stats if no interaction, I would say is good, you can not expect a girl to feel the same if you have not given her attention for a while. That was added for some emersion to real relationships.

Actually, it depends on your goal.
If you just stroll through the game, you are showered in boobs.
But if you hunt achievements, if you try to "100%" the game, then yes, it is a grind. But it is a grind of your own choosing.

Im playing on mac with the Holiday Island 0.4.5.0 version, however, once I am in amy's last gym session there is an "exception occured" after understanding the posing mechanics. Is there a way to fix this?

Not really, because there are a LOT of events/scenes. At least put the RNG to 50%, not to 1% as it is now :)
As for the girls, as you might be right if your words were on a chinese fortune cookie, without any context, in this MEGA REAL game, where I have my own harem on a private island, I just wanted to feel like I'm with my ex wife again in a real relationship :). No attention, no pussy.

Maybe just enjoying the game going at its own pace without thinking about getting 100% until you're above 85-90%? You can get most things just by intuition and logic easily. I may be at 98% or so, and most of the time I don't even think about completing the few things I still have remaining xD

Or maybe it's just that I enjoy stuff that can provide me with entertainment for many hours, as on my Steam account I have thousands and thousands of hours played throughout the years (A game such as Skyrim has 700 hours on the classic edition and 300 more hours on the remaster, and it's far from the top of my played games xD)

Here in HI i'm on day 785 if I remember it correctly. Is that a lot of time spent on the island? :unsure:

There is some hidden truth in your sarcasm. ;)

For years now, editors have tried to inflate the players game time. This is done through grindy mechanics, achievements, DLCs, to keep you engaged in the game.
We, as players, have become used to it, and -dare I say- desensitized.

But Holiday Island if not that type of game. By its very nature, it cannot be.
It's a porn game. There is no boss nor achievement that can motivate me to play longer: when my balls are empty, my balls are empty.

There is one major criticism that can be made against HI: The UI is full of information, quests, stats, boxes to checks, etc.
It looks like a grindy game, whereas the core gameplay loop is anything but.
This mismatch between the UI and the gameplay is possibly the game's biggest design mistake.
