MacOS changed a lot of things recently and makes simple things far too complex to find
For Mac, that does not work anymore, as its all built into one .app file/package now.
So obviously the problem is not with the games if mutltiple of them are not working. What platform are you on? Did you recently update something? Are you using a launcher of some form? There were various reports in this thread of launchers not working. Always try to run the game native.
I play on PC windows10. do you think there are some files missing in the system? There are no problems with major games on steam. only sex games and few of them. what do you recommend? shall i update somthing?
Did the games you mention work before? Did you change anything like applying Windows patches? Is there some error and is it the same for all of those games? If there is a traceback.txt in the game main dir please post it here (as a file attachment, not in text please).
ok, let's take HI as example. So you click on HolidayIsland.exe. Is any error given? What happens to the hourglass, does it immediately vanish again or does it take some time before it disappears? If it is fast that suggest something is stopping it. Maybe a security product you have? If it takes time you may be short of usable memory. Have a look into the the memory with the task manager. For HI I think having at least 4 GB of free memory is needed. Otherwise there is no place for all those nice images Darkhound makes to get loaded.
i checked my ram and it has more than 4 GB free. i closed all my anti virus. still same problem. do you think the system misses some files? i tried to make an windowsupdate but it still the same. in really giving up. i have very good PC so this games should work more than perfect. i can run a lot iof high quality games with no problem.
After clicking on HolidayIsland.exe is there anything about it in any of the Windows logs?
In the game folder, there is a log.txt file. Can you post it ? ( in spoiler tag or attach the file to your reply).
Make a copy first, then you might try changing the file extension from .txt to .zip. Changing the name wouldn't be a bad idea either. You're sure to get some warning about changing the extension, but cross your fingers and go ahead and do it. Now you should have something like HolidayIsland5.zip Then see if you can uncompress the newly named file.
The Companion Mod, found in the Extras section of the original post, will allow you to move the island girls to different locations. When you click on the Companion Mod link in the original post, it will take you to the post where the current Companion Mod file can be found, along with instructions for installing it into the game.
