This can only happen if you have a very very slow device. There is no infinite loop. It just takes a moment to execute.
I have added a longer timer in front of the block to prevent it in the future.

Edit: I have seen this in conjunction with MS Teams. Teams is a load of lead bricks that can kill off almost anything trying to co-exist with it. I am obligated to run Teams for my job and these day only start and stop Teams when nothing else is running.

I wouldn't doubt it. They've basically made each of their applications its own particular version of a Swiss Army Knife (probably in the name of "interoperability" between their apps), and also seem to frequently beta-test their software by going straight to distributing/selling it as the ("delta") public release version and then waiting for bug reports...

Also, historically one of the worst peddlers of bloatware has been Adobe. They've been notorious for memory leaks in their code and for bogging down system resources. They've gotten a bit better since their transition to Creative Cloud, but they're still resource hogs; just slightly less so.

Since it's not a save game that needs updating, this shouldn't happen at all. But I have no idea why it happens. Ignoring the error will not cause any problems in that case.
You must have managed to create the save exactly at a bad moment. If I use rollback and try to reproduce the error, I can't. My save games can be loaded without a problem.
So I guess we have to file this under "unsolved problems".

Huh, weird. Thanks for looking into it. So it doesn't seem to matter in regards to anything, but finding an 'unsolvable' bug still gives me some weird sense of accomplishment.

It doesn't look like this is in the actual game code. Rather it is in the Renpy system. I notice you are running on Windows 11. There were various reports before here of people having problems on W11. As lots of people were running without a problem on W11 it was assumed there was not a general problem, just problems caused by specific drivers. But I am not sure we ever got closure on the subject with a general recommendation what to fix.

Okay, I've got another one. At the very end of Jessica's night swim scene, Yvette suddenly makes an appearance at the pool.
When I left for the pool from the night bar, Yvette was the last girl in the bar and shortly switched into her bikini while transitioning between bar and pool, but I didn't make a save back then.

Kinda sorry for spamming, but now I've found an actual issue:
After the fruitless first strength training with Delizia, I visited her in her room after midnight, brought her the yellow tablet and she scheduled the next training session for 21:00 during that conversation. Going to sleep afterwards though, the next morning I also get a message from Delizia, arranging another training appointment that collides with the already existing one.
The attached save is right before going to sleep. No matter how often I reload and try again, next morning Delizia always makes another appointment.

EDIT: Okay, after finishing the first appointment, the second one isn't startable, neither by the 'going to the date' button nor by directly visiting the gym - it's simply not accessible at that time. I don't get an angry reaction from Delizia for 'missing' that second appointment either.
The quest seems to continue normally afterwards as well, demanding another late night visit to Delizia's room next. So I guess it's not game-breaking, just quite confusing.

want to report a small bug thats pretty specific, i dont have a save to reproduce it, but maybe its still worth mentioning:
After the event between Jessica and Desire in Desires room when the MC gets caught late and the girls get angry, the following day (might also be able at the same day) when trying to talk to Desire at the pool and she reacts angry (coming close and complaining) and then gets back in place (the scene is finished) i cant do any actions, none of the buttons is clickable (go to another location, do any other action), rollback is possible and access to companion mod, but nothing else...

in my situation it was at the pool and only Aly was also present... as said, i dont know if this happens at another location or with other girls present, so i cant confirm this for other situations...
maybe someone can reproduce this...
