Yes, I know all that. My initial post was meant to be sort of an opinion piece voicing some constructive criticism. Maybe it did not come across as such. And that I don't expect the developer to act on it right away or even at all should have been clear from my post's last paragraph.
Next time I write a critical post I guess I will have to use a disclaimer just like you did .

In the end it was worth pointing out those things. My first point was considered to be valid by Darkhound and will get changed in the next release. And maybe, one day, in my entirely personal opinion, I will come to perceive rain as a positive element in the game - or I won't. Either way, I will keep on loving and playing Holiday Island .

Because you could equally consider such a story element to be too unfinished and therefore not ready for implementation in the code base at this point in time. But the product owner (Darkhound) decided it was ready, and the developer (Darkhound) did not object

Just thought the topic worth a small analysis.

I did not go into any details and stuck to concepts as Darkhound had already commented on practicals.

As for the disclaimer, well, a few people (you are not one of them ) assume I speak for more than just myself when I write game analysis. That I am Duckswim and it is Darkhound's game getting lost somewhere in the internet's interpreter.

So nowadays I add the disclaimer here and there.

That should be triggered when you send Natasha away and back. However it looks like a bug sometimes causes older saves to be in a state where this event can't be triggered. According to the developer this should be fixed and won't happen with newer saves.

If you want to unlock that event in the phone, there is a console workaround posted by darkhound1 in this message.

I think it would be a good idea to include this in the companion guide if this won't be fixed in a way that prevents this from happening with older saves.

Once she is on the island Sara is always on the island. Talk to Yumiko at the beach bar about the sunlotion and follow it from there.

Once she is on the island Sara is always on the island. Talk to Yumiko at the beach bar about the sunlotion and follow it from there.

Yumiko is part off it with regards to getting the sun lotion, but it all starts with walking on the beach with Miriam. You have to do so multiple times.

Version 0.3.2 - development news (updated 20. of October 2021)

Hi guys and gals, this post offers you a collection of news about the next version of Holiday Island (0.3.2).

The change log below is based on the release 0.3.1.0.​

The next main release is 0.3.2 which will be a full update for Windows, Linux and Mac. It will include new features and some bug fixes as well.​

As of right now, the update from 0.3.1.0 to 0.3.2.0 has:
30 additional renders, videos or sound files
4 updated renders​

New features and content

• Joy will get a new appointment in her office to continue Sara's quest concerning her experiments --> will be part of 0.3.2
• Delizia will be converted to role staff and will become head nurse --> will be part of 0.3.2
• The tiers 1, 2 and 3 will be replaced by 5 named tiers and the assignment of the girls to the tires will be adjusted. More details will be explained in a separate post --> will be part of 0.3.2
• A new role "staff" will be implemented and the existing role "regulars" will be replaced by "resort guests". More details will be explained in a separate post. --> will be part of 0.3.2

Minor improvements and changes
Bug fixes

• After Yvette's meeting with Joy, she asks you to go down to the pool even though it was raining --> will be fixed with 0.3.2
• After winning at strip poker, for some girls, for a very short time the undressed image was shown too early --> will be fixed with 0.3.2
• In the message for the reward appointment from Eva in the player room, the text says "Yvette's room" --> will be fixed with 0.3.2
• Company favor costs displayed was not the amount of company favor reduced afterwards --> will be fixed with 0.3.2
• You could get two invitations from Alice for strength training for the same day --> will be fixed with 0.3.2
• Overlay images are displayed in Amy's protein shake event --> will be fixed with 0.3.2
• At the end of Aly's event at the sun lounger at the beach, overlay images are displayed --> will be fixed with 0.3.2
• The achievement for Amy's scene in the night bar lavatory isn't unlocked --> will be fixed with 0.3.2
• During her strength training quest, you could visit Delizia during daytime, although it was only supposed to be possible at midnight or later --> will be fixed with 0.3.2

Is the update going to break save games?

0.3.2.0 --> Save games from 0.0.8 and later can still be used. Earlier saves are no longer supported.​

I'm having an issue now where (for example) if I have an appointment at the pool like the Wet t-shirt contest, if I'm at the pool early, it will trigger immediately and will repeat every time time advances, so every 30 minutes so long as I'm still at the pool.

If you press the message before it starts, it will start immediately, not get you to the pool or where ever it is early.

I understand that. I'm talking about events scheduled hourslater, for example 4pm, and if I go there in the AM the event starts immediately. Alice's workout scenes come to mind. They're supposed to be late evening, but when I went to the gym in the morning, it triggered the scene, then it would trigger again later.

Since you didn't mention it, I'll ask. You are playing v.0.3.1.1, which you downloaded from the developer's Patreon page right? The reason I ask, is that there were reports by some, that the update to v0.3.1.1 linked on this site caused prroblems for some.

Also, don't take this the wrong way. The dialogue could use some polish. It seems like it might have been translated from another language. The word choice feels a bit off. Clunky? There's obviously the occasional typo. That's going to happen anywhere. But something about the dialogue just seemed weird.
