We've updated the index controls and have tested them internally; seem to work fine on our end?

We have an internal rule that we only release something when it's solid. We have been working on an interaction system and it's getting there, but not ready for prime time left. With enough patreon support we'll be able to hire a physics programmer that will REALLY make it shine

The episodes are storylines with light interaction. We're building more interaction into our "freeplay" mode while you will get built in with Home + EP1 as a free update. Hope this answer helps!

I'm also having no luck with the Index controls.
I hit spacebar to enter the game. From there I can move/teleport (sometimes it works with left, sometimes right, often not at all). Otherwise I cannot do anything at all.
In the "installation instructions" in the OP it says "make sure your install folders are named liked this". Unfortunately the image link underneath is broken. Can anyone advise what it says?

Tried this out last night on an Index. By default the controls are mapped terribly. Nothing works. Took me like 20 minutes remapping everything to something that works.

Would you mind sharing your remapping? I tried and could not really figure out the rebind menu to get those missing actions.
Index def does not work out of the box
So i tried some of this.
Holodexxx: Meet Marley NSFW - 3d scan/model of Marley which stands in the middle of a room.
Grip Button - makes your VR hand straightens so you can "slap" her as in if your vr hand intersects and you press grip button with her model there is a slap sound.
Trigger Button - Makes your VR hand "grip", if i remember correctly there should be a moan if you intersect the model while holding trigger.
Both No collision, hand clips right through.
menu button - makes her do a walk away and walk back.
Holodexxx: Riley Reid NSFW - Havent found this yet but probably the same as Meet Marley
Holodexxx: Gallery NSFW - is a big room with a 3d Scan of a pornstar in the middle, you can open a menu and change the model, some are free, most are dlc with subscription fee. They do some are static, some have 1 small animation loop, Also you can make them rotate clockwise and change their size. i have found no other interaction
These are "only" demo apps for their 3d scans. if you have seen Gallery you really don't need to play Meet Riley/Marley only real difference is the walking animation.
Holodexxx Home EP1: Lady Euphoria - Consists of a bit scripted story where your AI companion introduces itself lets you undress, and watch a masturbation scene, nice story so far, nice animations, this has potential, it looks beautiful and even though my Pc isn't the newest (4790k +980ti) i think it should run better than it did.
You can repeat the scripted story bit but that's about it, i think.
HDX Home EP2: Euphoria Evolved - continuation of the story, stopped playing at the start of the "movie room" scene because controls made me quit. So i haven't seen the end of it yet.
It runs ok but has 4 major problems:
- Performance is trash, at least on my machine.
- 3d Audio need tuning. The ear facing away never should be muted. Tipp for devs: Try to play with only one headphone when tuning in 3d audio. it's way more noticeable that way. you should be able to track audio sources even with one ear.
- Teleport and turning mechanics are beyond broken at the moment. Vr Position is never aligned with the arrow after teleport. Turning makes you turn around a spot instead of turning you. when you keep tuning in one direction it's as if you would walk around something. This makes it impossible to play seated since you can't position yourself in vr without moving in Playspace to correct for missalignment. A "grab move world" button like in VAM should at least workaround this for now.
- you have to put it in <Drive>:\<Folder>\hdx-home-beta-windows
where "Folder" is it's main directory were you put EP2. This means i couldnt place it in the same folder i have my other VRpornstuff "D:\games\vrporn\holodexxx\hdx-home-beta-windows"

Review and Thoughts:
I think this Ep1 and 2 are short but great after the issues are fixed. Movement and audio ruin immersion atm.
I still have no idea what their goal is.
But honestly if they turn this into a "smart VR Companion" sort of thing it would make sense for me. Couple this with a bit AI and someone smart to code behaviour and this could become huge soon. They could make a small app autostart and make her interact with you on your desktop like "bonzi buddy" or "Clippy" with full Ai-smarts behind it. They can make her "move" seamless from device to device (Pc, phone, vr) and when you ready to jump in you get your wireless VR and meet her in the virtual world. It seems to me, since they partnered with naughty america, they want to go the "professional path", the money in porn is plenty, and with things like toys with integrated tracking, or even trackable dolls there would be a valid reason to spend a chunk of it.
In 5 years i see it as completely normal for one to have a sexdoll which is able to, within limits, walk, move, and return to its docking station to clean and charge when you done for less than 600USD. With VR it doesn't have to look like anything, or do anything smart. Just jam a chunk of lithium and a few motorcontrollers in its chest and you're done. Question is only who will provide the software.
But as is, it is, at least for me, just ok for one or two wanks and then you have seen everything it has to offer.
