Especially when English may or may not be the dev's first language, which is more often the case than not. That said, yes. I'm not at all a fan of the indie dev tendency to give their characters pointlessly exaggerated assets.
Now, I get ppl like their big tits, but... it's like they don't even try crafting characters with more reasonable figures, which is a shame.
As far as futa content goes?
Well, I'm less concerned about that if it's optional and/or the game was clearly meant to target that niche.
Traps fall into that category too, and just like with big knockers or horse cocks, preference is purely subjective.
The reason I'm less inclined to gripe about futa vs exaggerated proportions is that one tends to be clearly optional while the other is something you cna't do anything about... if that makes sense.
But, I've learned I tend to be more objective and analytical about these things... admittedly more than most, or is likely necessary. But, yeah.
To clear the things: under "poor writing" I understand very stupid plot with a lot of holes or cringey dialogues or lack of choice which leads to imposed scenes that I may not like, etc. I'm OK with broken English as I'm not a native speaker either.
Also, I don't expect a story on the level of George R. R. Martin
I understand the limitations of the genre. But I also can reply to the people that say that the plot isn't important in AVNs at all: "Go watch porn". We all know why we play these games. They allow much more immersion in the characters than an average porn flick and much more relation to the story.
