The content is solid. The pace of development/updates is terrible. The developer needs to do better for the people financially supporting him with $10-$20 per month. There's no excuse.Since I injected myself into the board, I feel like it would be weird if I were silent when the update goes out.

Of course there is excuse. Content is only worth what people are willing to pay for it. If the developer is happy there is no incentive to improve. If the developer is ambitious he would make longer and meatier updates.

As you have seen and perhaps now experiencing there are a few here that have issues with emotional control. Try not to take it all to heart when they say the negative, happens all the time. Slow burn or whatever it's a fun story to follow even if it takes years to tell. I noticed on his site that he has maybe 5 or 6 paying members so he's not making a living off of this. I hear you. Definitely not worth $120, which is what you're paying as a top tier supporter for a 15-30 minute update every 6 months.
Hey, people can spend their money however they want, but that's crazy in my opinion.
Happy to wait and get it for free or maybe support as updates come out instead of monthly.

There is also a Russian film "Instead of me ", released in 2000. The old man in the wheelchair had desires, but he couldn't physically satisfy his desires! A rich old man hired a young guy to watch this guy do it instead! The old man said that in his youth he had to eat someone else's fresh shit to earn his first money! And the guy agreed! The guy was molesting other people's wives!The guy got slapped in the face during a fight and other pleasures! But in the end, the old man left his property in France and the money to this guy!
