I used to know a Polish guy who was a roadie for a rock band. I knew a Czech one too. A Czech one too...
Because one is not enough :)

Reminds we of an old joke, it goes something like this;

A man walks past a wooden fence and hears people chanting NINE NINE NINE. He looks through a hole in the fence to see what's happening and gets his eye jabbed, as he walks away he hears chanting TEN TEN TEN.

Hey Homies,

There isn't much to report this week, but I'll put the links just in case. and

TLDR
-Long work week + Dev issues caused some delays
-I got past that issue and now I only have the final section of S1 left

Sorry, that's all this week.
Much love!

progress chpt5 week 4.jpg

Hey all,

Had more computer issues this week so my numbers are practically non-existent.

Look at the or report for the full details, but the TLDR is:

- GPU gave me issues so I cleaned it
- I guess that didn't do the trick because my GPU Fan melted a little and stopped working
- Ordered new fans so I don't have to dish out a ton of money for a new GPU
- My ultra old GPU is in my PC now so that I can at least make posts and play shitty low-def games while I wait for the new parts to get here

Sorry everyone, and thanks for your patience
Much love!

My GPU fan gave up the ghost just as covid made getting a replacement gpu impossible couldn't find a replacement fan so I took off the outer sheath around the heat sink of the gpu and strapped 2 case fans to it, worked fine. Then again I wasn't rendering things.

Hey all,

I wish I had better news, but the parts I ordered to fix my GPU last week didn't work out as I'd hoped. My computer worked for half a day after the repairs before it broke again and I've been unable to get that GPU to work since... Also, I'm broke af so I had to wait for the new month to start before I could dump a new GPU onto my credit. Still I hope it gets here early this week and I can finally start to work on the game again!

Anyway... Pray for me, homies!
Much love!

Sometimes shit happens JB, we know you're one of the good ones. Hang in there my friend. It'll come together and meanwhile we will wait excitedly, yet patiently for the next update.

TBH I don't know If I can mentally handle another PC techno talk right now. I've spent the past two weeks doing nothing but that and I need a break lol
Long story short, my GPU stopped working and I tried a few different things to try fixing it, including ordering new parts, but nothing worked. In the end, I was able to get a slight upgrade from my previous GPU and that's all that matters to me right now lol

Did you try turning it off and back on? Maybe hit it with a wrench? Try going to Walmart and buying some elbow grease to put on it.

Someone will think I'm being serious so: This is a joke.

It also isn't helped by the amount of "enthusiasts" that believe they know how to diagnose every problem. A prime example was when my operating system would randomly start to freeze after a random amount of time, and I couldn't even do a factory reset. The fix was finding out that Microsoft has an option in their installation tool that lets you do it anyways.

I also had a fun encounter with the Sticky Notes program - something that's installed in system32 - which caused a similar issue on my laptop for university years ago. The point being that shit breaks and if you have the income then it's better to have a professional fix it for you (except Geek Squad). :)
