Thank you. The truth is that I have never tried it. There are a ton of games that do not have animation. I can try it and see how it works. Maybe use it in the future. I'm glad you're switching gears. Kimberly was probably my favorite branch of the story anyway, but moreover this update feels like you've lost the passion for the character and rushed a very basic scene. Good luck with the new project.

You are right. I went through many emotions during this one. I was going with 2 MC's but, like you, I wanted to tell Kimberly's story more. I have been fighting it off since I first introduced her. But I am glad I am doing it because I found my passion again.
It must not be that bad if you keep forgetting, and downloading the next one. I ask you...do hardcover books have choices? do comic books have choices? does real porn have choices? no, no, and no. I don't care for games that have choices because I would rather go for the ride than have to think and worry about missing something by choosing the wrong choice...this game, and the next, are kinetic novels so people who don't like it need to get over it...though it's funny to hear the cry babies cry.

Choices just locks content behind multiple playthroughs with trial and error.

Animated sex scenes are only good if the animations are well made and that takes a very long time to practice + it takes very long to render just a short, decent animation.Nice update ... I become a member of petron... but why not use animation? much better the sex scene in animation

That is very true.
The problem is, that custom animation takes in it self a long time. Frame by frame.
Of course you could use off the shelf animations. Way easier and may not be that bad. Though they are limited in what they offer.
Personally, i am ok with just images and have it via Renpy Dissolve "fake" animate it.
In general, sex scenes are hard to do as there are so many components to it.
I know that some doing a good job with their animations but it's not easy and consumes a lot of time. The question is, is it worth it?

Don't fool yourself, the out of the can animations are really bad and they make people who know how good animations should look like cringe beyond believe, but they are good enough for the average user here because most have absolutely no eye for any detail. Good animations are worth it if you really want them in your game, even if that means that you might spend 12 hours or more rendering them alone.
Personally i also prefer decent stills over precanned animations or the typical 2-5 frame animations from some devs but it still doesn't hurt the dev to practice doing them if he has the time and option to do so.

I considered at one point. Normally i find pre-made animations good for poses but not to use them actually.
But you need also some extra software and import/export these clips. I admit, it can be fun even if it takes some time.
I think the main challenge is to make organically as possible.
Originally i am from the Bethesda world and there are some good and some bad animations. Leito is usually one of the good ones.
As i am now in the VN world, it strikes me a strange to have animation in a games that lives via stills.
Anyhow, i think a game can be splendid without animation and arousing if done good.
And i agree that trying out isn't a bad thing. You learn more if you try whatever the results are. That's how i operate DAZ at the moment. Trying out and see what happens.

Yeah there are also big differences in animation quality in AAA games.
I think everyone who renders with DAZ started pretty much like that, some might've watched tutorials and/or had someone with experience giving them tips. But i think we should stop discussing that topic here since its offtopic and we might get to feel the wrath of a mod sooner or later.

Version 1.5 was great, best release to date, scenes with Rayanne was great, hoping for her to get really into it now that she knows how to use her body, and in my opinion the hell with animation, if the folks want animation tell them to watch tv or go to the movies, will take long content before short animation any day.
