Sorry, Penelope and Collette are for my /female/ folder only, you know?card for the dark skinned girl?
You cant do that on existing cards. What you can do is create a new one by loading the existing card, and chosing a different personality, then saving it as a new card or overwriting the 'source' card. How do you change VA for cards/females?
I admit I suck making cards and usually find something close enough to my liking and edit it a bit more. It does take a while to really get the hang of the character creator and not create monsters.Me whenever I see one of the "you can only create asian characters!!!" posts:
The girls’ voices are tied to their main personality type (quiet, girlfriend, motherly, etc.), of which there are currently 10 + Fur/Furu. Set that on the same screen in the character creator that you input her name and save/delete cards. Click on the Adjust Voice slider to have her say something and then adjust her voice higher or lower. I find the default level (50) for the majority of the voices to be excessively high for my tastes, particularly the girlfriend voice. I’m pretty sure I have a few saved girls that still don’t sound too masculine even approaching -100 so play around with it. Two girls with the same personality but drastically different slider values sound quite different. How do you change VA for cards/females?
I hear you. I’ve resulted to the ol’ pen and paper numerous times to write down slider values when trying to quickly match up left and right sides or place an accessory in the right spot. Being able to copy and paste a particular facial feature would be amazing.I really wish there was a mod that lets you take settings from certain body parts and import them to a new/different card. Kind of like being able to copy/paste face/body/legs etc.
I find these girls cute as heck and would be interested in whatever the final product ends up being, even with no magical elements and a plain, routine narrative. Nice group composition. I know you are leaning into it for this particular project, but I would vote for less size discrepancy and keeping the main cast of cuties human, but that’s just me though.Hello, my dudes! Honestly looking for a bit of feedback on this thing I'm working on.
Kingdom Hearts made it work with disney/anime style so I can see you making this work really nicely. And tbh, since you take the time to put a lot of detail in your stuff so I think you'll make it work regardless of the style.Hello, my dudes! Honestly looking for a bit of feedback on this thing I'm working on.
Lately I've been playing with more of a stylised look for my girls and kinda gone off in two separate-but-sorts-the-same directions. The 3DCG anime look, and a more Pixar-ish look. I like both, but not sure if they work together or I should focus on one style more.
Just wondered if you guys think these could all work visually in a story together? Or whether you might have a personal preference?
As you might have seen from my previous progress-spam, the idea centres around elves and faeries and demons and shit, so at least half of these characters transform into something else (is the plan, at least! For the two more "anime-styled" girls lol), so visually there's going to lots of playing with size (as below lol) and making tweaked versions of the characters for the magical and more dopey side of the story
But any feedback from you guys is always, always appreciated! Help me unpack my brain!

Cool. Yeah, the giant dude is kinda end-game stuff. More proof of concept/practice than anything. Been playing a lot with Studio, but just on trying to compose busy-looking scenes with lots of models involved. Hectic, and a lot of fun, thinking about how I'm gonna tell a story effectively. The girls’ voices are tied to their main personality type (quiet, girlfriend, motherly, etc.), of which there are currently 10 + Fur/Furu. As noted, if you want to change it after loading her up in-game, you’ll have to pull her out of any groups first and then exit out to the main menu and edit her there and save her as a new card, losing all accumulated stats.

Yeah! Exactly right. Basically a bunch of magical bodyguards in disguise as humans lol Still haven't quite got the (un-transformed) protagonist looking right at this stage. Why I 'm taking a step back from it for a bit. Attack it later or after I've napped on it lolKingdom Hearts made it work with disney/anime style so I can see you making this work really nicely. Is it safe to assume that succubus you were working on is one of the transformations? I think it might be a cool idea to have normal girls in the pixar style and when they transform they adopt more anime style look.
Looking forward to seeing where you take with this. Also, loving all the shots. Definitely noticing all the little detail you put into your poses.Yeah! Exactly right. Basically a bunch of magical bodyguards in disguise as humans lol
The Move controller makes FK even more intuitive. Much easier than how I learned to use it haha.Looking forward to seeing where you take with this. Also, loving all the shots. Definitely noticing all the little detail you put into your poses.
Off topic, FK makes your life so much easier when you're posing. You don't have to worry about the limbs all going out of whack nearly as much with FK haha
No, they are only for studio use.I did not originally get the sideloader pack, but I got curious. Is there a way to use those assets in the game or convert them to make them usable in the game? Such as random small items, weapons, effect, etc.
That is correctI just want to play the game, not gonna meddling with Studio ... so I don't need to download optional sideloader modpack, right ? ... it's the studio thing, right ?
I still use/rely on pre-made poses a lot, but there have was a couple were i started from the basic T pose. Honestly after fiddling around with FK for the fingers, the bigger limbs are a lot easier to manage. Seeing your stuff is gonna make me dive into the studio again haha. Been pushing off doing comic style stuff with Sylvia, but this is kinda giving me that push hahahThe Move controller makes FK even more intuitive. Much easier than how I learned to use it haha.
But especially with it, you can get very quick at setting up poses if you play with a mixture of pre-made poses and tweaking FK constantly. I don't really use pre-made poses all that much now as a result.
And thanks for the support, man! Still figuring out the format I'm going to use, hence not sharing cards and stuff. All still WIP and me just playing with the game again, which is cool. Feels like ages lol
The schoolroom picture and the crucifixion are connected, the Indian boy is the giant blue demon lol So trying out some composition tricks with my scenes to tell the story as much as I can visually, while I decide on how the text will work alongside it.
