Any fps problem fix?
This week i upgraded my PC,format, and downloaded 4.0.1 release on betterepack - my fps are 10-40...
Before upgrade i was playing on worse PC on same release - stable 50-100 fps.
I know downgrading BepInEx will help a bit, but still i had normal fps with newest BepInEx on worse pc so wtf is going on?

So, here is a complication. Such modes are done as overlays and they fit only the face they were made for. I kid you not you are better off learning how to make an overlay so you can make a smudged overlay for any girl in your harem.
Since dl this, I have found a half dozen or so rooms that flat don't work for me -- and I'm sure I'll find more if I keep at this. In each case I end up with a white screen that doesn't respond to anything except alt+tab or ctrl+alt+del. For all the changes and additions this DX version is supposed to have over the previous one I was using -- which is considerable older -- at least that one worked.
No one seems to be able to explain what I need to do to get those locations working so, from my experience, this one is worse than the old one.

Didn't help. I didn't know upgrading PC will destroy whole game for me, disabliong shadows in graphicsmod brings a lot of fps up but it looks bad. With worse PC I could add 10 lights all with shadows, a lot of overlays etc. and fps were high. Now with better cpu it is 10-30 fps with 1 frontlight + shadows.

I have a similar set-up with a 2060 Super, and beefy RAM and CPU. I upgraded from Repack 4.0 to DX 4.01 and have the same issues now too. From 100fps average before (with all graphics mods cranked up and even in sex scenes getting at least 60fps), to 50fps in Character creator and only 20-30fps in sex scenes. (With lots of jittering)
It started AFTER I updated too. Because I ran the game getting about 120fps in character creator before realising I needed an update.
I'm still sussing out stuff, but I think we might wanna re-do the install. Get your Zip/Rar file, and unpack it again. Don't use the launchers updater, and just try and track down all the mods you need to update manually. This way, we can sus out the "bad update" and fix our FPS issues.

Your answer is not helpful. I have searched the thread before posting and came up with dead links. I will not spend more than say 20 minutes searching. Asking questions in this thread can help me save time. The question has been asked 100 times because it's a relevant question. Maybe a permenant link should be pinned? In any case your position is ridiculous. Stop asking questions in an open thread dedicated to users of the game? Get a life
I have never had a problem with it, try updating all the programs you use, torrent client, extractors, all of them.
The thing is, asking the same question over and over without a thorough search makes you look like you are ignoring the ability to search and the answers already provided entirely, which leaves a bad impression and is less likely to get you the help you are seeking.

No, you download them all, but ONLY unzip the first file. Make sure they are all in the same place or the unzipping will fail. If they are all in the same place, they will unzip from first to last automatically with you only having to start the first file.
After reading this I went back and looked at doing that in a new folder and discovered my part 4 and part 7 lacked the underscore between file name parts. It had this:
ScrewThisNoiseHoneySelect2DXBetterRepackR4.0.1.part07
instead of looking like this:
ScrewThisNoiseHoneySelect_2_DX_BetterRepack_R4.0.1.part07
I'm not sure why, but when I down loaded thats how they read. As a result I was getting file not found errors out of 7zip. Which explains why I was getting errors.
I went back after reading alex2011's comment and looked at the OP links and they all seem to look the way they should. If you get errors in the extraction, look for that first.

I have those 2 off. Any other ideas why the performance is so bad in my end? I have a gtx 1070 ti and a Ryzen 9 5900X
How many girls are you playing with? The game can load up to 100 and, as usual,it relies mostly on RAM. Your 1070 ti won't have much impact because of that. They made it this way likely so that weaker systems with weaker or even no dedicated graphics card can still play, just with weaker performance.
So I dunno where to even start, but all my girls' vaginas are flying off the to the side of the screen into infinity after this huge update I did. I am getting warnings about missing the mod "re_toptoinner_v" and I don't even know where I can go to find that. Hitting update on the init loader doesn't do the trick. What can I do? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
