Wasn't having this issue beforehand but when I am editing characters, after the first few, when I try to switch to another, the game freezes up and just stays there. Any help would be appreciated. ty. I haven't altered the build except for adding hanmen textures and its bipenex to the modlist which did not overwrite anything else. Edit: Trying a fresh install to see if it clears up the issue, I'm quite certain it may be that the 8k/4k textures may be too much. The game doesnto ctd, it just freezes there with the music playing.

You're not alone in this, my game will freeze and then crash if I swap characters (or outfits) enough times. I'm not brave enough to try a fresh install, I just make sure to save progress frequently.
Thanks. I don't mind downloading extra files btw, but I was getting overwhelmed since there isn't enough information about where or how to start

Due to the need to patch BepInEx 5.3 plugins to BepInEx 5.4 format, as well as initial caching of zipmods, initial/first launch will take longer than usual. This is a one time thing, until plugins are updated for the new format and zipmods are cached.
From this release onward, the optional modpack for Studio is no longer bundled with the main repack. If you want that, you may find it on my download site treated as its own repack.
If you have trouble starting the game, start the game once through the launcher (InitSetting.exe), this will check for errors and fix them as well before starting the game.
You can update the sideloader modpack (clothing mods etc) from the launcher. Just press the icon in the lower left corner of the launcher with the arrow to check for updates. I'm updating that more often than the main pack, so should get some updates there every so often

So instead of simply banning the individuals involved, they nuked the whole thread. A punishment for the 99.999% of uninvolved people.

Well since the card request thread is locked I guess I'll ask here. Anyone has the card for the blonde, maid girl in the help screen? Someone said that this was supposed to be one of the default base char for HS2 but the card's missing in my case. And in any case someone asked, yes, I've searched all the folders. Thanks in advance

Shouldn't matter, depends on how you prefer to organize your backups. It's safer against accidental deletions etc if you create a backup structure outside your game folder though.
Which sucks because I just found that thread and was gonna ask if there was an HS2 card for Mia Goth (who's 30... to be clear) lol...
