Man that sucks, I really dig the graphics for this game compared to Koikatsu. The skin texture looks way better and softer, it's a shame it's basically nothing but a simulator. Hell the base game itself is barely even a game compared to the romancing in previous illusion games.

Try Summer Vacation Scramble, it has more gameplay and maybe will get more mods

I'm just guessing here but that "could" mean the game can only run with internet connection (aka "DRM") which if that is the case then that's bad as i was hoping to redownload the game and get back into it until i saw this, sad.

Is anyone able to clarify this please?

Yes, the game has telemetry, it phones home sending your data to Illgames.

There's a crack that disables this though, and Screwthisnoise's BetterRepack version comes with this crack pre-installed. The only downside is, that you won't be able to download contents within the game either; you'll have to visit their homepage with a browser and download characards (

) and scenes (

) manually, placing them in their appropriate folder. Small price to pay for disabling the spyware if you ask me.

This has nothing to do with scenextractcli, this is a DOS issue. You can't change drive with the "cd" command, that must be a separate command.
So first type "e:" (Enter),
then "cd \Eroge\SamabakeScramble\SamabakeScramble\UserData\scene" (Enter).
So two separate commands. (Hint: you can press the "Tab" key to autocomplete directory names. Press it multiple times to cycle through all possible names.)

On your screenshot you can see "C:\Users\Admin>" on the left (prompt), that hasn't changed at all, indicating you did it wrong. When you do it right, that string should change to "E:\Eroge\SamabakeScramble\SamabakeScramble\UserData\scene>" (sorry for the backslash, my keyboard has no yen symbol).

But if you're not familiar with the command line, why don't you just use the GUI version scenextract.exe?
Double-click on it, and then drag'n'drop the scene png on its window. It will even show the character previews (if the embedded card has a face image).

About the GUI version, so I dropped the scene png files from the scene folder, I tried the chara card,too. But when I click on it and save as the readme instructed, nothing happened

6. clicking on "Save" will now save the card next to the other cards, you'll be able to use it right away in the game.

Unlike the GUI tool which navigates you the game's chara directory, the CLI tool saves files into the current working directory, so you'll have to copy the characard manually before you could use it in the game (in my case, the place would be the "C:\Ill\SamabakeScramble\UserData\chara\female" directory, depends on where you have installed the game).

You don't install them. Just extract somewhere and run the registry fixer bat once (this will update the game's location in the registry). That's all to it.
