Pretty good for a test build. I would be a shame to lose such good character models if this project dose'nt go forward although the mc looking like a 1970s lounge lizard is'nt great look, providing a shaving kit would be a huge boon. I found the inital backstory a bit far fetched however I did like the concept of something happening in space, we cant contact the mainland and the premise of a couple stuck on an island defintly works for the basis of the story however an archipelago would allow for more characters to be introduced later and would complement tk8000s sandbox VN stlye of storytelling. I also like how the relationship customiser was set out, being able to see how a sentance would read was benifital.

When I first tested it, I thought it was so boring that I didn't think anyone would give a shit about it, but I made a considerable adjustment to the texts, summarizing a lot of the characters' lines and exposition, and I think the end result is quite nice for a simple game without many pretensions and with a cute girl.

I tried not to advertise the game because I don't want people to go to my Patreon because of it, I have too many things to do at the moment and I won't be able to give the people who happen to like the game what they deserve. But the way I organized the game in short chapters, with few images and relatively simple scenes (usually only 2 characters, often not even wearing clothes) allows me to work on it very quickly. It took me only 95 hours to make this first version, and a lot of that time was spent trying to figure out some things in DAZ Studio like lighting, cameras, optimization (my GPU has only 8GB of VRAM and that totally screws me up), etc.

It won't be impossible to set aside 1 or 2 hours a day to work on this game in the future and still get fast updates. But I won't promise anything at the moment.

As for the game itself, I read an interesting opinion on 4chan about the fact that Ellen goes from a prudish girl to a naughty girl very quickly. So I decided that if I return to the game, the first thing I'll do is add a little scene for Ellen in the chapter where she says she is going to read something in the bathtub, to create an extra step in her "transition".

Well, that's it. I won't be working on this game right away because I have other things to do, but since the reception was positive, I will try to find the right way to work on it in the future.

I think it would make sense to give this a short but complete story with a beginning middle and end, nothing special like multiple routes or different sharing/solo scenes. Find the plot point you want to explore narratively (Looks like you're basically heading toward mystery or something more character driven, no reason it can't be a mixture), and just go for it in an update or two. I don't think this needs a lot of work, but one extra character and some interesting dialogue? Sounds like a finished product to me!

Come on man this is the best thing i played in the past few weeks. It must go on . I mean just look at the plot and the models (specially aunt) and very thoughtful writing, it's quite amazing

About Honeymoon Island
You may remember that I said a few times that this project was very bad, and it was true. Since I was just testing the renders, I did not put any work into the writing initially, and until a few days before I posted it here, the game was pretty horrible. The problem was that the narration was done as if the protagonist (the guy who looks like a porn actor from 1980s movies) was writing a book, and holy shit, it sucked!
So I rewrote the whole game and made the protagonist narrate in the first person, with few sentences in a simple and direct way. I also changed a lot of the character's lines, if you notice, some lines don't match the character's expression very well, especially in the beginning. After I released the game and played it again, I think the final result is pretty good, and the public's reception was also good.
I decided then that I will continue with the project, mainly because, according to my plans, the third day within the game has the potential to be quite fun, since Aunt Angela (the woman with the atomic-boobs) comes back to the island and Ellen starts to get protective towards the Hairy Moustache Lad, generating interesting situations. This kind of dynamic always generates a good chemistry between the characters, as for example in the case of Alanna and Joel from the old House Arrest...
However, I will not get back to work on this game right now! I will first finish the HS Tutor update, then the last one for Solvalley and finally I will resume the project, this time in an official way. I don't want to attract people to my Patreon for this project right now, because I won't have time to work on it and I don't want people giving me money and not getting the content they like at an honest pace.
If you who are reading this are only interested in the game "Honeymoon Island", and are my patron, then I ask for patience, it will take at least 1 more month for the HS Tutor update, then 1 month for Solvalley, and only then will I get back to work on the game. If you want to cancel your pledge and come back later, feel free.

I became a huge fan of (TK8000) your work after playing honeymoon island ️ and i don't care if it's not well written or not, the teasing and exhibitionist and voyeur genre makes this thing perfect. It's very hard to patiently wait for this marvelous game for updates. Back in the day i also played solvalley school and that's quite good already but this time my friend you've totally outperformed. Wait those that mean this daz game will be officially project not HS2 similar l solvalley? I dont get :unsure:

you may be correct with drive, sail works for boats with sails but motor driven boats don't sail
