Is it really how it works for Steam and similar platforms ? If you told me all Daz based games on Steam paid the rights (meaning bought the asset + maybe pay some licensing fee if it's not included) to whatever pre-made assets it's using, I wouldn't believe you. How can either Steam or the asset's creator verify that kind of things ? Is there a secret technique I'm unaware of ? I don't see how anyone couldn't just pirate any DAZ asset and use it in a game they will sell on a platform and get away with it.
For games made with Illusion software that's probably another story, but also unclear to me.
For example with HS tutor, you have no way to report the guy to the platform and take the money from his sales and become the new owner of his account, similar to a copyright claim on Youtube ?
In the case of DAZ Studio, it's unlikely that there will be any problems, but many assets are easily recognizable and I personally prefer to have all the receipts for the assets in case someone for some reason suspects that I've made illegal use of it or some crap like that. But if the author of the game has a company, then I 100% recommend buying all the assets without thinking twice, because nobody wants to have a company that is legally registered and everything, but that is infringing copyrights, the problems for these cases can be extremely severe.
In the case of games with Illusion stuff, I think it's hard for anyone to try to sell it in serious stores (although I've seen at least one case of a game copying Hunie Pop but using assets made in Koikatu being sold on Steam). The guy selling HS Tutor is an Italian who has a website dedicated to selling dozens of erotic games he finds on the Internet, translates them into Italian, and pretends to be the owner.

Some of you wanted some scenes where the MC cums in Ellen's chubby ass, so I've been doing some experimenting. I ended up buying an $11 asset that seems to be the most acceptable I could find. It's possible to make some combinations with 5 different cums so I think it'll be enough for the final scenes of the game. Here are some examples:
I think that with the different variations, densities of materials, lighting, poses, etc., it will be possible to make some very erotic and hot renders. I'm going to use these assets in the next update of the game.

I think I now realize why you chose the Dr. Disrespect look, that's how Ellen and Angela treat MC. They disregard and disrespect him. For all the consideration they give him, he may as well be a rubber mannequin with a dick. I've been waiting for some actual love to happen here, and it's just not. It's two women fighting over a dildo.
Ellen loves the MC, but because of their bond it's not a romantic, mushy love. You have to take into account that the real relationship between the MC and Ellen isn't really made that clear because of the censorship that credit card companies impose on all erotic content produced worldwide. But the whole idea is that the love she feels for something akin to an "idealized older brother" goes through a phase of erotic playfulness, and in the end turns into amorous passion.
And of course, Ellen is a brat and she finds it amusing to see the MC's reactions to the clearly wrong things she does.
She's not trying to disrespect him, she's just so intimate with him that she can be totally open and authentic without it being seen as rude.

You can still set it however you want. The dialog works no matter what kind of relationships you set them all to have.
Yet she does, and together with Angela, they completely disregard his feelings and wishes. To them, they are the only ones that matter. He is just a life support system for a penis, until something actually needs to be done. Then he has to do it while Ellen daydreams scenarios based on nothing, and Angela tells him he could just be fucking her instead of whatever it is he's trying to accomplish. If Angela had just brought him some clothes, 95% of these problems could have been solved. He could borrow her boat, go to town for a couple of hours, find out everything he needs to satisfy his curiosity, and come back. It's not like he'd abandon them. Angela and Ellen could spend their time on the beach doing nothing, and then they could all start playing with each other when he returns. There would still be all of the mysteries on the island to look into, plenty of sex to be had, and they wouldn't have to treat him like a piece of shit.
All of that being said, I love this game. I can't wait for the next release, and to see how you end it.

You guys are really making it hard. Please read the thread before replying.
It seems to me like the dev is saying if it weren't for credit card companies censoring content, they would have written the game differently such that "the real relationship between the MC and Ellen" wold be made clearer. Hence my suggestion that they leave the game as is but provide a touch up in the relationship via an ipatch.
My original comment was, after all, a reply to this exact quote by the dev.

This doesn't change the fact that you can set the relationships of the characters to whatever you want. You are the one doing it, not a default setting in the game. Thus, no ipatch is needed if you want to make their relationships closer than what is deemed moral. This is not hard. If you don't believe me, or anyone else who tells you otherwise, then just try it for yourself. Playing it will show you. There are some games out there that will give you this kind of option, and totally screw it up so a patch is needed. That doesn't happen here.

Dude I have ALREADY played the game. I'm saying the DIALOGUE could be different if the dev wanted through an ipatch, because they don't want to make the dialogue overtly wincest in the original game because of censorship.
Game crashes after a first handjob, its probably because of some bug in unlocking replay scene gallery, need help.
