VN Ren'Py Completed Hopepunk City [v1.1] [dateariane]

Overview:
Your character is a refugee of one of those war torn regions who managed to swing a sponsorship to this city. You can play as a previous player character (DA/SITA or AiP) who Ariane sponsors, or you can be a new character who won a sponsorship. Your character can be male or female.
You move into a house with three women: Ariane, Rachel, and Maya. The object of the game is to get a good job and become friends with all three roommates, and if you are successful you can help negotiate a plan to keep the city-state stay alive a little longer.
The game opens up in a refugee holding area. It used to open up with long winded exposition text, until I decided “showing” is better than telling. You deal with an immigration agent in a military uniform, and then the first people you meet are people that hate refugees. The first friendly person you meet is Rachel.
Rachel gives you a tour of the house, then you meet Ariane, and depending on which origin you pick for your character, this is either a getting to know Ariane section, or a getting caught up section. There is a key point where Ariane asks what you are interested in, which is a key choice in the paths you can take.​

I see male prewiev only male MC speak in in side image no female. This make me dobute if it female MC as well.

It kind... sexists show overe ther only male in side image when MC spoke to NPC charcaters. But i gonna give it a try. Hopfull to find Female MC.

The premise is simple, a strange one crossing multiple genres. Sometimes I just found myself lost going around in circles trying to find out what to do; It should include a built-in walkthrough.

Ariane holds a very special place in my porn library, so I'm downloading this no matter there's no easy route.

I generally really enjoy the Ariane games but this is incredibly boring.

Nothing at all happens and the story revolves around the dullest mind of politics you could imagine.

On top of that the weeks just repeat themselves including the conversations. Once you've completed one month, you;ve seen everything in the game and a month is over in a few screens.

You repeat the same 3 conversations. Need to stay employed to keep your place in the house but will randomly be fired for no reason at all just to take another job and rinse/repeat that.

I'm not even going to talk about sex content or relationship building becaue there is nothing. You get points with the 3 girls for doing shit but they mean nothing.

I get it's still in development but the story is bland, there is no character building or story arcs with the girls and the job system is just straight shit.

From a series that's been around this long and had games that a lot of us have enjoyed this feels out of place. It still needs a ton of work before it will be anywhere near enjoyable but even then I don;t think this political story is going to be bringing people in.

I feel like it's starting to get interesting now. I had a lot of trouble getting to the end of this version without being kicked out, so I had to try it a lot of times and because of that I realised how much this game branches according to your choices, which I really appreciate. Maybe I'm missing something but it felt a little unreasonably hard to play at times. It doesn't have sex scenes yet, which I don't mind, being more into softcore myself, but there are some great casual nudity scenes, especially towards the end of this build.

Date Ariane, that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Something about the characters seems, I don't know, off maybe? At least in comparison to SITA. I didn't recognize Rachel at all at first glance. Still, I enjoyed all of Ariane's previous works so I'll give this on a shot.

Date Ariane was interesting with it's choices, given that it basically described a single night. This, with all it's little differences and zero hints it has will be, kind of already an unplayable mess.
