The game getting an Abandoned tag is only relevant to this site's rules. It doesn't necessarily mean that the game has actually been abandoned by the dev.
There are a few reasons for why a game can get the tag, see here. Section 3. Prefixes

From reading other posts, it seems that the dev has said they're taking a break, so hopefully he will return & the game gets further updates, at which point the tag will be removed.

There is always hope .

"Apocalyptic harem" setting is one of my favorite and this one nails it very decently. It's such a shame to see the abandoned tag which means we'll never get to see future family harem reunion and other main plot revelations.
