I am a patron and the locked portions are just more escalation rather than "all the hot sex scenes are behind the paywall and the pirates just get teasing".

Be that as it may, I'm still done with this title. This is the only dev, personally, that I've come across that leaves obvious "extras" behind a paywall like this. A gallery of spicy pictures or TRUE 'extra' content is fine to have behind a paywall (or like Inceton used to have 'commercials' in their game, but still gave you everything. Wanted to get rid of the annoying commercials? Support them.), but content when you're clicking through and reading the story? No. Never seen that before and it tells me that the dev is greedy and only looking for money and gives little regard to their own reputation. "Escalation" aside, it's still the fact that "oh! There's more here, but because you didn't pay me you get CineMax instead of hardcore porn...unless you pay me $60 a year to get that juicy content!" That's greed. No other way around it. 100% greed. Look at all the top devs around here and you'll see that they're in it for the love of the story, content, character development, etc. Not this one. This one is 100% in it for the money and thinks "I can make good shit and get paid a ton of money and quit my job!" before anything else. Going to be bullheaded about this point because it's 100% what's going on.

Honestly, the greedy and entitled person is you and all the other people who whine on a pirate forum about not getting full access to a porn game.
Either wait until someone leaks the supporter version or wait until the game is complete and available for 5 bucks.

This dev must be crazy to think he is going hook someone with monthly pateron fees when we just wait till it is completed and save money by buying the completed version. We'd save more that way. Game is just not good enough as it is. All he has done so far is make me deceide to not even purchase it when and if is completed. Bye Bye

I would guess most of the games that aren't finished here are from devs getting burned out from doing all that work and only getting minimal money and shit talk on how his game isn't up to the high standards of some of the members here.

Was'nt sure, but now, I remembered why I deleted the 1st time. Wife is a (ugly)whore and MC is mindless/spineless wimp like most other games. Sexual fetishes are just that, fetishes. Living life and and having sub/culkold fantasies doesn't make you a pushover in life. Why the men are always portrayed like that is beyond me. The problem with most game devs like this who adds paywalls to their games is they're trying to make a living out of this.
Developing games for porn shouldn't be something you put all your eggs on for your livelihood. It should only be a hobby first and foremost. If your game blows up and gets really popular, then yes, you can now consider going all in and be a full time porn game dev like the big names here.
But to start off with this paywall bs so you can siphon as much money as possible is ridiculous. If you need money, go get an actual paying job instead of relying on porn game dev.
It's basically the same as starting a YouTube channel and trying to make living out of it. Should never be a plan A and your main source of income. Only make it your plan A if it has grown big enough. If it hasn't yet, sit down and make it a hobby, and try to make it grow as much as possible.

The wife is fine. It's awesome to have something different than those weightless-feeling balloon-carrying generic DAZ dolls for a change. I love the idea of a natural human with some stereotypically "frowned upon" features. It's obvious that more than a few people in this site are absolutely unfit to any kind of actual relationship irl so it's expected they have broken standards.
Now the patreon thing would be a complete disaster IF we were considering regular people. But like I said, lots of people in here have completely dissolved their frontal lobe so it's also to be expected that a bunch of idiots would fall for the most unethical of market strategies out there. Unfortunately, this serves as a lesson to future devs. There will always be enough crippled people out there buying porn to justify the most ridiculous of market scams to make money with.

My contribution to the paywall debate? I find it personally annoying but I'm not going to tell them how to make their game. If it is an ineffective marketing strategy then the market will take care of it. There is no obligation to present any sexual content to be displayed on the forum. Heck, there is even a tag for that. However, I do fall into the camp that says this is unlikely to work out for the dev in the long run. If you look at the most successful Patreon campaigns for devs of this kind of game you can see certain commonalities. Large, frequent updates. High visual quality. But the most important factor is a passionate community that is engaged with the end product. If your fan community feels that you are dealing fairly with them they are far more likely to support you financially. There are baffling exceptions to this, of course, but there are no shortcuts to the kind of support that successful devs build in forums like this. This happens organically and an artificial mechanism cannot duplicate it. There are already vocal complaints about the quality of the work so far, so adding fuel to the fire by creating a paywall that damages user experience is unlikely to build a rapport with your audience. You need to put in the work and show your work.
I do enjoy the game so far and hope for its success. I get the impression that the dev is still learning on the job and will need to rebuild some parts of the game as their skill level increases. But I am curious to see how it all shakes out before picking up my torch or pitchfork over a free download of an incomplete game in development.

How many updates has it been, there is still no progress in the story. Hotwife is not Hot. And there is Paywall in the game.

There is no such thing in almost any game. Most DEVs post to the public 1 month or 2 weeks after posting to Patreons.That's what I was thinking

I think it is the lack of content before the paywall that has people upset. A game like Fashion Business has a paywall too, for extra scenes, but they are just more kinky versions of scenes we see in the free version. And if each release has 6 sex scenes in it or so, it seems very reasonable to have one kinky variant behind a pay wall. Hotwife Ashely on the other hand, in the latest update, had no sex scene at all for free. It could be that the paid content was equally lame, but it seems poor form when the content is so little to put some of it behind a paywall.
This is a pirate site, and I personally think the mods should not allow games whose only content is behind a paywall, unless the paywall stuff is also cracked. After all, there is nothing stiopping those who want to pay for this game visiting his Patreon site. Why does the game need to be here at all?
